Richard speaking... I have known Kaori since our first meeting at Narita Airport on April 28, 2002.
I had previously been in touch with her through the Internet, because I had decided to move to Japan
after five years in Singapore and I was interested in knowing more Japanese people and learning more about the country.
But we soon became friends and discussed much about life and our thoughts on the difference and similarities between the UK and Japan.
I used to live in Aichi, in a small town called Nishio City, for the first part of my stay in Japan, from April 28 to October 28 2002.
I then decided to move to Tokyo, to be closer to Kaori-san and also for more positive working opportunities.
I now live in the South West of Tokyo around 35 minutes from Kaori in Kichijoji. We enjoy life here.
Kaori and I became a couple and developed a relationship which became very close over time.
Of course, there are obviously many cultural differences between us, since I was born and raised in the UK, many thousands of kilometres away.
However, after being fortunate enough to experience life in Australia, France, Singapore and my birthplace, the UK, as well as Japan,
I fully understand and accept the challenge of life in an overseas country and I welcome it wholeheartedly.
I believe the differences we have make us more able to learn from each other and I have a tremendous respect for Japan and its people.
I have been delighted with the friends I have been able to make and the feeling of belonging which I have experienced almost all the time.
I am ready and happy to make Japan my home for the long term and to be very honest,
I feel that the English and Japanese cultures have a lot of similarities as well as shared mutual respect.
I am happy to say we have a great relationship and we got married in the Setagaya ward of Tokyo on June 27 in 2003!
I am happy to hear from anyone who has feedback.

Hello. We thought this would be cute just cause this is the way we are.
We both love eachother very much and nothing can come between that, especially what other people think and say, and boy do we get alot of that.
If not from our families then the same pair of eyes but we do the best we can and we are happy knowing that we are doing that much.

You can't tell from the picture, but I'm half Korean and half Black-American.
I grew up in a completely Korean household and speak Korean.
I think growing up in a patriarchal household helps me to understand the family structure of the typical Brasilian or Latin family structure...
My boyfriend likes that, as do I!!!
He's from Sao Paolo, but born in the northeast of Brasil, Pernambuco...
Over the course of our relationship, his Portuguese has managed to rub off on me, along with a liking for the teeny Brasilian bikini!! (how NOT Korean of me!!)
We're looking forward to starting a family in the near future, but he hopes we don't have any girls.... I'm sure they'll be gorgeous!

Fe' and I have been happily married 47 years. We have 6 children and 19 grand children.
I have worked as a Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist for over 30 years.
Being a professional and living the life of a parent, you naturally want to do your very best in raising your children.
We discovered that parenting needs a purpose. With a combination of spiritual and psychological resourcefulness we raised our children to serve the Lord.
The heightened expressions of joy, peace and inner transformation expressed in tender caring conduct became so manifest in them that I trembled at the power of God upon seeing it.
No ocean, no mountain could stand in the way of its happening, so intense the attraction between child and God.
I can tell you what Fe'and I did, how and why we did it and the results.
I tell our story in a book just published, PURPOSE-DRIVEN PARENTING published by Tate Publishing.
I sincerely hope it can be useful for those entering in the awesome, child-raising venture.

We met in Florida 8 years ago and we have two beautiful children.
They speak English and Spanish and are very global oriented.
We teach them tolerance and respect of other countries, cultures, religions and lifestyles.
We want to move from South Florida to another state.
Please let us know a good place for interracial marriages and families and the worst places (so we don't move there).
We are thinking to move right outside Atlanta Georgia.
If anyone has a recommendation please feel free to email us. Thank you very much.
PAZ, PEACE.
We are also vegetarians, so let us know if you have any comments.
