Meeting Stephane was the best thing to happen to me.
I was divorced with two children and we have blended into a wonderful family.

My 15 year old son just returned from a one month exchange program to Germany and had a wonderful experience.
His host brother is coming to stay with us in late October for 3 weeks.

We have been married for two years, very happy and very in love. Physical compatiblilty is wonderful. We are both Christians and in fact were both missionaries, yet since we married, our spiritual life has dwindled to almost nothing. We are quite worried about this, yet communicating on this topic. We attended a United Marriage Encounter weekend, which was wonderful, but my husband doesn't like to dialogue as his English writting ability is not as good as his verbal. We would love to communicate with anybody who has the same problem, or who is the same mix as us. I am also quite a lot taller than my husband, no problem for us, but other people don't respond so well. Any advice? We are thinking about emigrating to New Zealand. How will our marriage and/or any subsequent children be received in that culture?

My wife and I started out as pepals set through a friend of ours that I worked with in San Jose, Ca. After just a few letters and picture exchanges, we were on the phone for just the second time and I asked her to marry me and she said yes right away. We became penpals in July, 1996 and engaged on Sep, 6th 1996. May 1997 I went to the Philippines and three days after I arrived on May 28th, 1997, we were married. I stayed until the first week of July and had to go home to return to work. In late Aug. I was laid off and Sep 4th I was back in the Philippines until Jan 20th 1998. While I was there for four months we had a few fights, newlyweds getting to know each other. She will be here in June or July if everything goes right. We hate this time right now because we are so much in love and we have no choice but to be seperated.

Richard and I got married in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 23, 1998.
And I moved to Johannesburg on May that year.
We're still struggling with the Home Affairs Department of RSA to get my Residential Permit.
I was only granted a one year visa by the embassy of RSA in Jakarta and it will expire on May this year.
I'm now 16 weeks pregnant with identical twins!!
The babies could be born on my birthday this June.

Paulo and I applied for a K-1 Visa in January of 1999 and he was approved in February!
By the end of March, he was here in the USA! We married on May 15, 1999.
