Teddy already had shown his beauty and charm at dog-shows, winning Best of Breed and Champion titles, but recently he outshone those accomplishments by doing a "Lassie number" at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He alerted his human companions, Steve and Dick, to a wiring fire in progress at the back of the house, saving property and maybe more!! Dick has renamed him "Sparky", but only informally! Those familiar with Bouviers won't be too surprised--they are highly intelligent, protective dogs, and cuddly, too!!
