Gypsy is a 9 year old female black and white pekingese. She's very tiny, and a little spitfire. She's a little tom-boy, and wants to do everything the big boys do. She barks,growls, begs for food, chases joggers, and gives lots of loving!

"The name Gypsy fits her because she put a spell on me", says Janice, her "mom".

The story was very common. An elderly woman couldn't keep her any longer due to illness. Her daughter hated dogs and had her tied to the front stoop for a month.

They had seen Janice's name on the PCA rescue and called her for help in placing her, and when Janice saw her, with the twine hanging off her neck, her heart just melted. She looked like a mini version of Janice's 2 pekes, Booker and Choppie, and that was all it took.
