NEWS:

No news is not good news.

Okay, the project stalled.

Big time.

But it is in production.

The problem- makign some of the 1:6 scale vehicles. Many failed.

So, I've got to rework a few things and get back to it.

It figures. Burt was going to fight Bigfoot- and I didn't get much of a winter. So then I planned on doing Gillman, and summer was not cooperative.

So now, if nothing else, I'll super-impose the action figures on screen captures.

Honest.

PREMISE

What is Burt Gummer vs. the Gillman?

FOF's primary goal is to provide quality 1:6 scale entertainment. Part of that is creating e-comics (our photostories) for the readers. After all the great emails I received concerning my Burt Gummer kitbash, I decided, why not do a Burt Gummer story?

Okay, I have my main character- now what do I do with him? If you check out Stampede-Entertainment's website, you'll find that Tremors was almost made into a Television series. In it, Burt, Earl and Val would have roamed the country, hunting monsters. How unfortunate this show wasn't made!

An idea was born.

I chose the Gillman, because Creature from the Black Lagoon is one of the finest B Movies made, and because I happened to have a 12" Gillman action figure, and the project wouldn't require much more than outdoor scenes in the woods or my own backyard. (If I lived in the desert, I might have decided to do a graboid story, but I don't).

Over the coming weeks (no, probably months) BvG will be slowly, painstakingly created. First a script has to be written (almost done) then everything has to be planned out. Next, photos are taken, then retouched. Finally, when the whole story is done in comic book format, I have to convert it to .html. Whew!

So check back often as I update this corner of FOF, and feel free to comment on the project's progress.
