"Cathbad, you said I'd be your apprentice until my
destiny became clear. This is my destiny!

Rohan is the strong and dedicated leader of the Mystic Knights. Although at first he doubted his abilities or worthiness to be the forefront of Kells' most powerful fighting force, he slowly grew into his leadership role. His fighting skills allow him to best a dozen Temran soldiers by himself, and his fearlessness enables him to leap into battle no matter the odds. Armed with his integrity, honesty, and mighty sword, as well as backed by his trusted allies, Rohan remains the greatest warrior in Kells, perhaps of all time.

Unlike the other Mystic Knights, Rohan didn't have to be given his Mystic Weapon by the fairy king Fin Varra. Instead, he always had it: the Sword of Kells. This mighty weapon has been at the side of this mysterious warrior since childhood, and it has served him well for years. As a Mystic Knight, he summons his powerful golden armor by shouting "Fire Within Me!" Recently, he was granted an additional boost of power when the Mystic Knights were overwhelmed by Maeve's forces. By calling "Battle Fury!" Rohan's armor turns crimson, and increases in protective power as well as firepower. Rohan also has an unusually close relationship with Pyre, the trusted dragon ally of the Mystic Knights.

Until recently, Rohan's past has been shrouded in mystery. Everyone thought he was just another wandering orphan, who moved from village to village. However, the druid Cathbad saw far more than the ordinary when he looked upon the young boy. Cathbad sensed Rohan had a great destiny to fulfill, and offered to shelter and teach him until his destiny was revealed. Rohan accepted the opportunity to become a druid's apprentice, and this position made it possible for Rohan to learn about the great destiny he was to fulfill.

Rohan's great destiny was hinted at by the unusual mark on his shoulder. It was this mark that Cathbad recognized, and immediately discerned that Rohan was far more than a simple orphan. The mark spoke of noble lineage, and a respected role to fulfill. The ancient scroll shed some light on this, and it was discovered that Rohan was the legendary Draganta, the great warrior destined to bring peace to Kells for a hundred lifetimes. The sign later became important when it was discovered that both the mighty Temran warrior Lugad and the evil Queen Maeve had the same mark of destiny. This mark branded them, and gave witness to the fact that they were all united in blood. The mystery of Rohan's birth was illuminated when the Knights discovered that he was in fact Maeve's son, the prince of Temra. While this shocking discovery was unsettling, Rohan did not let his familial ties hinder his duty as a warrior of Kells, and so he managed to face Maeve in a final confrontation, which ended in her defeat.
