"You mistook me for a thief? ME?!"

Angus is infamous both in the palace and in the surrounding villages for his tendency to steal, lie, and get into trouble. In fact, his constant presence in or near the palace got the young man arrested on several occasions, including at about the time when Rohan was to search for Tir Na Nog. Rohan managed to persuade Angus to accompany him on his quest to find the meaning of the ancient scroll, and in fact led the young outlaw to his destiny, as a member of the Mystic Knights.

Angus is the Mystic Knight of Earth. During his quest of worth in Tir Na Nog, Angus had to learn to be loyal and honest to his fellow Knights. This meant he had to turn his back on riches in the pursuit of his weapon. His honesty was rewarded, and he was given the Terra Mace. With that powerful weapon, which enables him to sling large rocks at opponents, he can summon his silver-hued Mystic Armor by calling "Earth Beneath Me!"

Undoubtedly Angus' friendship with Rohan truly shed light on his caring, selfless personality. Angus and Rohan have been friends for years, both orphans who were striving to live day by day. While Angus has a tendency for thievery and lying, he is always true with his friend, and he is certainly willing to go any distance if it would help Rohan. The brotherly affection between these two Knights has survived many arguments and conflicts of interest. Whenever Rohan doubts himself, he can depend on Angus for brotherly, light-hearted chastisement. Of all the Knights, Angus is the most playful and child-like, and his carefree take on life is refreshing for the other Knights, to distract them from the solemnity of war from time to time.

While Angus' history as a pickpocket and his mischievous curiosity has earned him infamy in the castle, the street-smarts he's acquired during his turbulent childhood are very useful to the Mystic Knights. Angus is adept at sneaking up on people, at stealing without being noticed, and at lying and cheating. His tricky ways often allow the Knights to get the edge on Maeve and her often naïve soldiers.
