Wiring Conversion
On this page I will try to guide you through the wiring setup for installing the computer for the Caddy fuel system and how to inter face it into the Fiero master harness. First you will need the pin out for the Caddy computer so that you will know what wire is for what purpose. To determine each wires location this will de accomplished usinga multi meter or continuity tester, and using the pin out for the computer by testing pin to wire end on the harness. It is quite easy to do since there are only 7or8 wires you will have to inter face into the car, depending on application ie (air cruise). If you do not have these accessories you are one step closer to finishing the conversion.

Using the pin out text and a volt meter or a continuity tester locate the wires you need in the harness ie (cruise
control,ac) so that they can be connected to the master harness of the Fiero via the connector located in the computer bay between the seats as well as the seven other wires that have to be connected which are :speed
input,ground,power in,key power in,brake input,service engine soon,park neutral input,fuel pump relay control.
inexpensive multi meter or continuity tester is needed to do the
wiring setup such as these here.
This is the computer you will be using in this swap
To do the pin out you will need to recognize these connectors .If you look at the end of the connectors you will see the pin location numbers so you can do the pin out easily.
as you can see the black line I have marked on each of the plugs represents pin one on each side of the plugs use these points as a reference point to start the pin out process
using the continuity tester locate each wire point on the sub connector and its corresponding location on the computer plug and what it is used for then mark and tag it for later reference using the pin out above you can reference each wire and what it is for. Then separate them form the sub connector .
for good reference material on the wiring harnesses of both cars you can use these manuals they have good schematics
