Jeffs engine from his previous car a 4.9 with carb

 this is the car he has purchase to install his engine in .
The car was a turbo V6 gt owned by racetech and will now get Caddy power
extra clean chassie and body
removal of the 85 rear clip so the 86 GT clip can be installed and the chassie cleaned and refinished
you dont find cars this clean to often in canada most are extra rusty
now just some basic cleaning and refinishing and the motor can go in
now this finish will keep the rust hounds of this car for years
now with the carbed 4.9 cleaned up it's ready to get dressed and lifted into place
 valve covers here are the smooth allante covers
you dont find them here to often
 the engine reinstalled in the new chassie
now that the engine is in time to reinstall all of the components and get it fired up
oil cooler instalation is next
with the location clear the oil cooler fits nice and neet and with its size provides considerable oil cooling and extra oil capacity
in this pic you can see the coil over conversion used in this car to provide better handling and increase the rear tire size
you can see here the big change in spring sizes from stock to the new setup

cant get much cleaner setup than this almost no wires on this engine and it is fully gauged
body back together and off to the paint shop it goes   Jeff and doug in this pic poesing for a pic with the completed swap
side air scoops to aid oil cooling and keep engine compartment heat down to a minimium
oil temp.,water temp.,oil pressure, battery and vac. will monitor the engine .
now we have to wait for the pics after it
comes out of the body shop with its new coat of paint

and as you can see it is free of all moldings and handles to give it the smooth look
