Interesting Britney Facts

-Britney couldn´t make it to the Grammy Awards (America´s equivalent of the Brits),

but held a pyjama party in honour instead!

-When Britney was a little girl, she kept a balance beam in the middle of her living room

for gymnastics practice. It´s definitely paid off, have you seen those backflips?!

-Britney is appearing as herself in a future episode of Dawson´s Creek, alongside Joshua

Jackson and James van der Beek. Given a chioce between the two heart throbs, Britney

says she would go for Joshua Jackson (Pacy), ohhhh!. She is also interested in appearing

in Buffy the vampire Slayer!!!

-In the UK, Baby One More Tiem picked up the fourth highest sales in one week, beaten

only by Band Aid, Wham, and Elton John!

-Britney is making a guest appearence on The Famous Jett Jackson. She plays herself,

and saves the day when she arrives at a high school Halloween Dance to sing Baby One

More Tiem.

-Britney is the youngest person ever to have sold over a million copies of a debut single in

the UK!

-If Britney could be any Spice Girl, she would be Baby Spice!Ahhh!

-Baby, One More Time was originally written for TLC, but thier record company wanted Five

to record it, but Max Martin who wrote it gave it to Britney. Good job too!

When Britney is out on the town, or attending celebrity bashes, she loves dressing up, but

when it comes to accessories she likes to keep them simple. Britney prefers the simple

classic look to the over the top look, so she is often found in diamond studded earings and

a simple necklace.

A few of Britney´s favourite designers are Betsey, Johnson´s glamorous dresses, creative

calvin Klein, sassy Donna Karan and classy Giorgio Armani. When Britney is on the road,

she can´t be expected to wear tight fitting and sexy dresses so when she does go casual,

she tends to chose teh popular Tommy Hilfiger and loves casual clothes from a posh shop

called Abercrombie & Fitch. Britney says that when she is relaxing at home, there´s

nothing better than a pair of sweat pants and a T-shirt, "I love wearing sweats - you can

really slob out in them can´t you? I love to let it all hang!"

Britney is very in-tune with the fashion world. She loves to read fashion magazines like

Cosmoplitan so that she can keep up-to-date with all the latest styles and trends. She

has her favourite designers and when she was asked what celebrities style she admires,

she said Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jennifer Aniston because she loves to see pictures of

them and likes waiting to see what they will be wearing next. At the American Music

Awards, Britney was to present an award and she impressed all the celebrities with a

gorgeous white satin shealth and a sparkling tiara, she looked the bell of the ball.

Britney loves shopping and likes to take some time out to have a good shop in each city

she visits. Britney says that she loves to go to London to shop for clothes because she

loves the fashion there best. Britney confesses to being a shopaholic and has a habit of

buying hats, she has over 20 already! When we asked Britney how much she spends on

clothes she said, "About $300 a month," that´s about 200 pounds. Britney has her very own

stylist who makes all her stage clothes for her, so all Britney has to do is think up a look

that she would like for a show, tell her stylish and she will have it! "I´m not really a brand-

name person. Rampage, bebe, Abercrombie and Club Monaco are some of my favourite

stores, and thy´re not expensive at all." When we asked Britney what she buys most of all

she said, "Probaly sunshades. I freak out. Wherever I go I´m always buying new shades."

Britney has only ever had one boyfriend. His name was Reg and she knew him from high

school. Their romance lasted two years until Britney´s career started to blossom and she

ahd to move to New York, leaving him behind in Louisiana. Now it looks like enarly every

lad on the planet is in love with her- but Britney is far too busy concentrating on her career

to have a boyfriend at the moment. Were you sad when you had to leave you boyfriend

behind when you moved to New York?

"I´d been with him for years and I thought we´d be together forever. But he was happy to

stay in Louisiana and I wasen´t, so we had to break up. It was awful!"

Was it because you wanted to become a popstar?

"It wasen´t that I was changing. We broke up before any of my success happened. He

became insecure with himself. I was real head over heels in love. I don´t think I´ll ever

love somebody like that again. I just woke up one day, and click, it was gone."

What do you find attractive in a guy?

"A guy that has a wonderful personality and that can make me laugh and has a lot of

confidence, I find that very sexy."

At the age of 14 with her boyfriend. There is also another version going around which sais

that her first kiss was with Justin Timberlake, from N´Sync. Britney has said both diferent

versions in diferent interviews.

Brit Love:

The question that everyone wants to ask Britney is of course, are you singel? "I don´t have

a boyfriend. I just want to hang out with my friends. I´m just happy being myself," she told

us. "I´m too busy to get serious with anyone. Anyway, I don´t think I´ll ever love anyone the

way I loved my first boyfriend. Obviously when you are as famous (and attractive) as

Britney Spears, there are bound to be rumors about who you are allegedly dating. Britney

has been linked with a number of other famous popstars, including Justin from N´Sync

and Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. So, are they just made up? "Correct. The

rumours about my romance with Justin fomr N Sync are totally untrue. I´ve known him

since I was eleven and he´s the same, sweet, funny guy he always was! And Nick Carter-

I´ve worked with the Backstreet Boys and they are all absolutely fantastic guys. I´m sorry

to disapoint everyone but there is no romance there." If you remember the Baby One More

Time video, you might be interested to know that the guy who played Britney´s love interest

is actually her cousin, so there is defenitly no romance either? So what qualities does

Britney find atracttive in a guy? "Confidence and independence. Someone who´s secure

with who they areis very sexy," she says. "I like Ben Affleck. I´m not always sure about his

dress sense, but he´s so handsome. I have a picture of Brad Pitt on my refrigerator and I

kiss him every morning!" She has also admitted that she has a soft spot for a couple of

the cast of Dawson´s Creek, although out of Percy (Joshua Jackson) and Dawson (James

van der Beek) she would go for Pacey. If you want to win your way to Britney´s heart then

you have to live up to her idea of her ideal man. "A guy that has a wonderful personality

and that can make me laugh and has a lot of confidence, I find very sexy," she says. So
