MILK JUGS, TEA JUGS the INSTANT PORTA-POTTY!!!
I'm telling you, I just don't know how some drivers can possibly do this. I can understand up to a point a emergency situation such as being stuck in a traffic jam for a very long time and not having some where to go, when you have to go. But I do not understand just doing it because it's the thing to do and saves time. Not that it's for me to understand, but I do consider this gross and ignorant on the part of the drivers out there who are doing it and not disposing of it properly.
Come on we're talking huge one gallon plastic milk/tea jugs and we're not talking about going once or twice, we're talking till the thing is full. GROSS! GROSS! GROSS!
I can't even imagine what it must be like popping the top of the jug, to go. PHEWEEEE!!! I know what it's like walking into a porta potty and I have experienced what it's like when just one person goes to the bathroom and does not flush, you lift the lid and you are smacked square in the face by this gross, foul odor, and to top it all off it's diluted with the water of the toilet bowl. Oh don't even tell me your milk/tea jug is half water, half urine ... YUCK!!!
Having to do this once I can understand like I said, up to a point, but to do it constantly is pure laziness. Sorry, but I also, don't believe it's the ladies doing this, not unless they are using a funnel. There's no way I could possibly hit the top of that milk jug. If the ladies who are doing this, then all I can say, is they're really good!
I hope you are all stopped while doing this, I shiver at the thought of how much of it you wear, and gets all over the inside of the cab of the truck if you are doing this while moving down the highway. If you are stopped, wouldn't it just easier to step outside and do a tire check? Just asking because I really don't understand this behavior at all. I mean if one is really that lazy they can not get out of the truck to do thier business, then at least dump it and stop letting it lay around. Geez, drill a hole in the floor and run a funnel through the floor and wait until the coast is clear behind you to go. STOP leaving these gross bottles laying around for others to pick up.
I HAVE A SOLUTION ON HOW TO STOP THAT PROBLEM AND IT WOULD COST YA BIG TIME IF CAUGHT ... IT WOULD DEFINETLY BE CHEAPER TO WALK TO THE BATHROOM OR WALKING TO RID OF YOUR WASTE!
One can not tell me that all drivers haven't heard how this is becoming a issue, a topic, and a big problem that is dragging truckers down. We are being forbidden to park and rest in many locations because of this immature, gross behavior. At some point in time we have all heard this topic, read about this topic and we know it's a problem.
Here's something to consider and I know there are going to be many who don't agree with it, and some who will get extremely upset with me, but hey ... it'll clean up the crap out there.
The reason, a large reason many of our rest areas and parking areas are being shut down to truckers is because, plain and simple some drivers out there are lazy. DNA or Finger Printing test sure would fix that bad habits in a hurry. Our government wants to clean things up, well stop attacking all of us and making us equals to those who have a serious problem.
DNA or Finger Print testing, spend some money and find out who the guilty ones really are. What am I talking about? Urine bottles and trash. Those bottles, milk/tea jugs, we see propped up against a light post in the service plazas, against rest area light poles, the ones tossed across truck stop parking lots, the ones we see tossed along side the highways etc.. Yeah you know what I'm talkin about don't ya?
I can honestly say I don't blame people for wanting to keep drivers out of these areas, but it's not fair that we are all punished because of one individuals crime and filth. DNA or Finger Printing test would place the blame rightfully and clear my spouse from being compared to who ever these individuals are. Make the fines triple that of a liter fine. That should cure the problem.
It's pure and simple laziness on a drivers part when they won't even get out of the truck to go to the bathroom. I've watched my husband track through gusty winds and blowing snow to go to the bathroom at truck stops and rest areas. Sure it would be easy for him to stand along side the truck, but he don't. Laziness ........ Get out of your trucks and get some exercise. Get some fresh air, move around, and have some respect for yourself and others.
Now in all fairness here ... it's possible that some of this could be caused my those driving four wheelers. Especially in the rest areas. But not in the truck stops and not in other areas where one knows a four wheeler has not been. I have seen these propped against the walls at dock doors. This is pure ignorance and laziness. Dump the damn bottle and throw it away. Don't make someone else clean it up. If it's the four wheelers doing it in the rest areas and DNA or Finger Printing is run, well they'll get caught to. Yeah it could be costly at first, but after a few are caught and fined or word gets out they will get caught, it'll stop.
Oh and watch out when you are out there, because I carry my camera every where and I just might be the one sitting in a truck, in the parking lot, taking your picture. YES, I WOULD ... If I saw it, I'd snap it
