We're Back!!!

Well we did it. I never in my wildest dreams thought we'd be back here, but here we are. I guess I'm nuts ... I have to be nuts for suggesting this to hubby.

No ... doubt about it ... I'm nuts!!!

We Leased A Truck (Read NIGHTMARE BELOW)....

How could I? Why would I? Well it's rather interesting how it all happened. I did it because I paniced. Hubby had been out of work now for nine weeks. You can find out why by visiting What A Guy!

Hubby had applications in all over the place. It just wasn't making any sense why no one was calling him to come to work. Well we were down to nothing and I do mean nothing. I was selling things from the house just to keep food and heat in the house. I was running out of things to sell. Well I mean I have things, but there are somethings I'm not willing to part with.

I went into the kitchen and said, hon we need to talk. he had that Oh No! look on his face. Usually when I want to talk ... I want to ... well that's not important is it *smile*. I had been thinking and thinking about how we were going to get out of this mess we were in. I don't fault hubby's for quitting his other job. He was being run into the ground and no human being or animal for that matter should be required to run that hard on approx. 8 hours a week sleep. * hours a week. That's what most of us get in a night. But I was getting scared. I explained to him what I was thinking and feeling. Said why don't we look into buying a truck? I thought his chin was going to hit the ground. Trust me this is not really what I wanted to do, but when I panic I start thinking crazy *smile*. At the moment it don't seem so crazy ... and time will tell if I did the right thing or not ... (It was not the right choice ... read below! Leassee's beware!) He's the one who signed all the papers ... I just made the suggestion.

The one positive that did happen by doing this is we found out that hubby's career was just about over thanks to Pennsylvania and another provider who issues driving reports. I won't mention names, but I will say they were easier to work with and get this resolved compared to some stories I have read out here. Shore explained why no one was calling hubby to come to work. Actually they must have been sitting in their offices laughing at my husband.

When hubby renewed his license in Jan. 1998 they placed a B on there. My husband questioned it and they guy told hubby that ment that he could not drive any class B vehicals. WRONG! here's what it ment ... Hubby's had a CDL restricted to Class B only. His TT was removed and he was no longer classified a tractor trailer driver. After 27 years his career was shoved out the door because of human error. Class B driver applying for trucking jobs .. you know those guys had to be sitting in their offices laughing at him.

I have to give the State of Pennsylvania credit .... as much as I complain about them I feel it's only right to share this story. Hubby got a call from where we were purchasing the truck. They said they couldn't sell him a truck because he don't have a CDL TT license. My husband said, what do you mean? Well off the phone and he's smoking. Looks up phone numbers to the PUC and they sent him straight to Harrisburg Motor Vehical. The guy hubby spoke with on the phone was a very big help. He made all the changes right there while they were on the phone, faxed him a copy of the changes and issued him a new drivers license with the corrections on it. It arrived in the mail the other day. They were fast. They quickly made a wrong a right. Hubby faxed a copy to the other MVR provider and they too quickly made the changes to his file. All this in one day. The place that was setup to hire him turned him down based on the MVR, but once faxed the changes and explanation rehired him. All in one day everything was corrected.

I can't help but wonder how long this would have went on had we not gone the route we did to purchase a truck. No one ever called to explain to him that they got this back on his MVR and he might have not found out for a very long time, and heaven knows how much longer he would have been sitting home waiting for a job? So a positive right from the beginning by purchasing a truck.

Guys watch those MVR's and your licenses. That quickly and easily errors can be made. If in doubt please ask questions and don't give up until you are completely satisfied with the results and the explanations. They do make mistakes and the mistakes can be corrected quickly if handle properly. Hubby was mad, but he kept a civil tone about himself while on the phone with people .. and the end results were positive. Note: that they needed the proof before the changes could be made at the MVR providers ... but once we had the state fax us a copy ... we faxed a copy to the MVR providers and the changes were made right away.

I'll keep ya posted how everything is going.

A LEASING NIGHTMARE .... BEWARE!!!!

And So The Story Begins... I will leave the name of the Leasing Company out for now.

I am adding this information to my homepage to protect people (drivers) from allowing the same thing to happen to them. It just might save people from making the same mistake and tell them how to honestly put money in their pockets and to be grateful for the money they do have and make. I am disturbed and have concerns about a business and their operating practices. I am concerned about a drivers health due to all the problems he has dealt with in the past several weeks. He's been working very hard trying to get his head above water and in these last 13 weeks he's drowning because he has only received two checks. He will lose the home he lives in because he had no money other then two checks in the home to even pay his rent. It's getting very serious around the home.

I do not see how these practices are legal. Why do our paychecks "have" to go to these people at ______________? The checks go straight to this business ( _____________ ) from the company the he (was) pulls for. There is no reason these people have to have the drivers checks. The only concern of ______________ should be the weekly payment of $478.50 and nothing more. I consider their operation a scam and they are starving a family. ____________ is getting every single cent he works to make. When they did mail the two checks to him there were not even any check stubs attached to confirm that he even got them. Some one needs to investigate their practices or there will be other drivers in the same mess he is currently in.

I will explain this to you from the beginning so you can grasp the whole picture. I am concerned because it seems to me that this business is taking adventage of the poor man and his family. I can except "as is" within reason, but not when you are told you are getting a good vehicle, that there will be money sent to the house. So much was not told. Please pay attention if you chose to go this route. The driver is suppose to get only 30% of the gross, but what they are doing is deducting everything they supposibly say is due to them which leaves nothing left for the home. It is always a zero to the driver and a minus due to them. Please read through this whole thing. You will see their admission of guilt when they exchanged the vehicle and added an additional $4000 to the bill for the vehicle.

He is their slave and money maker. He drives that truck for a company ______________ insisted the truck be leased with. The company sends all checks to _______________ and _______________ takes it all because they say we are always on a minus side. He never had a chance. Not even the slighest chance. He was placed into a minus from day one as you will see farther on.

Yes, he did signed the papers, but there were a few things said verbally that were not put on those papers. It sounded to good to be true that it could be so easy to lease and end up owning your own truck, and believe me it was just that " to good to be true " it's a matter of him working to support ___________ is what it all comes down to. Many things that took place were after the fact. It was a con from the beginning once that truck left the lot.

When a furniture rental establishment here in Pennsylvania and Car dealership here in Pennsylvania tried to scam people this way they were dealt with. I am not sure what is exactly known about this business _______________. But I plan to make everyone aware to "BEWARE!". We are at a loss and stunned that this has been allowed to happen. What this business has done should not be allowed to happen to anyone.

HERE IS HOW IT BEGAN!

He was told by a friend why don't you check into this place called __________? So he called this business by the name of _____________. They had a lease purchase program (no a lease program with a contract you can't break even if the equipment is faulty which he was not aware of at the time. They call it a lease purchase which is what drivers impressions are when they do this. You honestly believe that you will have money in your pocket and you are purchasing a truck) and it sounded pretty good. There were a lot of things gone over in talks over the phone etc. He needed to ease his mind that he would make out if he did this and everything would be on the up and up. It all sounded very good to the ear. This contract is black mail and a bunch of non-sense. I realize what he signed and all, but this is unjustified and totally unfair to people who are in the bind that he was in. They are taking advantage of good people. They are getting all of the money left over after the company the truck got leased to get theirs. The drivers are the ones losing. They have drivers backs against the wall.

Based on what they said, he went down to _____________ and was there for nine hours going over the truck and different things about the operation. Most times he was doing nothing while he was there. He checked over a few of the trucks they had there and test drove a few of them as well. He finally settled for the first truck a 1993 Freightliner. There was no clue he was going to drown doing this. It's what you can't see that hangs you.

That truck choked him. He should have been given his money back because it was faulty equipment. But that's not their policey they said. I don't care what their policey is. It was junk. There are lemon laws in this state to protect people from being taken advantage of? The people he spoke with at ____________ were very nice, but you'd be nice to if you knew all the money you were going to be taking from a driver and his family was going in your pocket. If you were the only one eatting and the trucker and his/her we're not. Sure I'd be happy if I had no obligations and was pulling in that kind of money as well. Wouldn't we all be happy if we didn't have to do anything to make a fortune?

Next step was signing the papers and leasing the truck onto a company of their choice. The truck goes where they want it. It is not of your choice. They submitted his application and information to a company it was denied ( because of that mess up with the class B ). They then submitted to another company. He was accepted by this company ( which there are no problems with at all. They are an excellent company and do watch over their drivers ) because the corrections were made to the license and submitted.

I do hope I don't confuse you with all this. ___________ allows him to bring the truck home that day ( the same day he signed the papers ). They give him a truck with very little fuel and they felt a small certificate of $100.00 for fuel would be enough. So they had him soaked into them from day one (after the papers are signed) . He would have to pay back the $100.00 ______________ gives him for fuel to go get the truck leased on. Plus the driver would have to fill the tanks with the first load he got under. They gave nothing. I do mean nothing at all. It was always the opposite. The driver was the one giving and giving before he even had a chance to make even a little profit of his own.

Unfortunetly this truck was the first truck that The Company was putting on through the ___________ program and it took almost three weeks for everything to get completed. The driver was already committed to the truck and could not get out of it unless he wanted to come up with a $10,000.00 quittal fee. Three weeks that truck sat behind his home in a parking lot and did not move. Three weeks no money (plus the nine weeks prior to going through this program) and ____________ keeping track of theirs. Nothing was suppose to take place until that truck was working it's first full week According to them that was a misunderstanding on the drivers part. They said it was to take place the minute that truck was leased and moving. That's just not so. They said first full week. ________________ just did as they pleased.

Finally The Company wanted the driver to bring the truck down to get it all leased on. __________ got him for another $10,000.00 because _____________ neglected to tell the driver that The Company required drivers to have their own trailers. They do not provide them because they do not have any. They are an owner operator company.

So knowing that the driver was in a jam The Company offered to stretch their necks out and helped him find a trailer and everything that he would need for the loads since he was in the flatbed operation. They helped him get chains, binders, tarps and anything else that he would need. Now the driver is in debt deeper due to _______________ neglect in telling him this company would require him to have his own trailer. And he was already signed to the contract. He went in debt another $10,312.21 to be paid $100.00 a week for 103 consecutive weeks to The Company, and all this was before he was even leased on or hauled one load. Remember that truck had to go where ____________ wanted the truck. They had a noose around his neck from day one.

The truck sits almost three weeks. Driver had to make three trips to The Company (all fuel provided out of his pockets before he even made one cent).

It would be almost three weeks before he was leased and headed out with his first load. Three weeks his name is on a truck that he is making no money with. Three weeks more he is without a check. His first trip on the road was a trip all the way to Indiana to get the trailer they were selling him. His own trailer. They paid for him to do that but it was nothing more then some fuel in the truck to get him there. What they The Company did was have him take an empty trailer out around Hubbard Ohio where he dropped it. From there he had to bob-tail to Indiana and they then found him a load to bring back once he picked up his trailer out there. One load that week. The Company takes the $100 trailer payment which is deducted each week until the trailer and supplies are paid off. Company mails the check to ___________ which was approx. $331. ____________ takes their $478.50 payment and he ends up on a minus side with ______________.

Here is how this pay thing works. He "had" to sign a power of attorney for The Company to send the checks to _______________. ______________ takes their payment first and then the driver is suppose to get 30% of the gross as pay and what is left goes into a maintenance account for the truck. That form was the last form to sign. I feel this is done on purpose.

He did not have a chance to build anything in the maintenance account before that truck started breaking down one day after the other. Why does _______________ need to keep 70% of the driver's money? Once they get their payments that should be the end of it. The driver is responsible for maintenance and up keep of this truck anyway why do they need to keep it? Their suppose to be getting 70% of the driver's wages after the company deducts theirs. I see no reason for this at all. The company could send ________________ their payments and mail the driver his checks, but that is not how _________________ wants it done.

Example: Driver grosses $1600.00 The company takes their $100 trailer payments and the beeper fee for pager rental. That's a little over $1400.00 going to _______________, minus their $478.50 is still $1000, minus any advances the driver got which because of truck breaks downs equaled $1300. Instantly puts the driver on a minus of $300.00. This is all rounded off at the moment to give you an example.

How are you a lessee and a buyer at the same time. There is a difference between leasing and lease/purchase. There were questions from the beginning about this whole operation after it was rolling and papers were signed and there was no settlement sheets the first week for that $331.00. Then the truck broke down darn near every day or every other day and he had no money we became very concerned. I felt he were being scammed and mislead. See when I lease a car I make payments on that car. I don't have to mail my whole pay check to the dealership in order to lease a car. I lease my furniture here in my home from a business for $80 a week, but I don't have to send my pay check to them. If these people at _____________ are that insecure about people and have to know every single thing they do in their everyday life they should not be in this business. As long as the dealership or who ever get their payments their happy. Why should _________________ be any different? Why do they have to have all money and not just their truck payments? I didn't like their verbal tatics and their words of blackmail.

THINGS THAT WENT WRONG FROM THE VERY BEGINING:

First the fifth wheel was set incorrectly. When he hooked the $8000 trailer to it, and went to pull it out instantly hung up on the frame bending the trailer and tractor frame. If was completely jammed and there was no way out of it. He had to yank on it and it took a chunk of steel out of the frame. The tractor lights were blowing out which he replaced the bulbs for at lease half a dozen times. No receipts could be turned in for the bulbs because they got wet and were un-readible. There was something shorting in that truck which kept causing the headlights to dim and get brighter at times. We later found the problem with the dimming lights had to do with the alternator.

He was stranded on the turnpike because the fuel and air lines were wore where they had rubbed together over time prior to him getting the truck and it left him stranded out there on the turnpike. When he was finished with the service call it cost him $350.00 to get the lines fixed. Mind you all this was deducted at one time, they refused to work it out over time in small payments. It all comes out "NOW!" and your minus figures get bigger and bigger until _______________ is getting every single cent you do make.

Then the truck wouldn't start. It acted like it was the starter. When the driver got down on the ground under the truck to check the starter he found that the cable ends for the starter are broken off (rusted off) at the ends. He took it down to the truck stop where they fixed it. Both ends had to be redone. In less then a month this truck was falling apart.

There was oil blowing under-neath the cab of the tractor which he could not figure out where it was coming from. He called _______________ and of course they had no concerns. Why should they? It's the drivers problem and they'll get theirs no matter what. They knew from week one there were things that were not right with this piece of equipment.

Continuing on driver has a five stop for Conn. which he loaded on a Wed. and it could not deliver until the following Monday. He was home the whole weekend (Off work, making no money from Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). That Tuesday he notices the truck is running hot and sluggish, it's losing power, there is oil all over the under side of the truck. From the beginning he was telling ____________________ he felt it runs to warm. He calls _________________ because he's at his wits end with this truck. He sat for four days making no money and now there was one more thing wrong with the truck. He'd hoped they'd show a little compassion for everything that was happening. They knew he was hung again they knew everytime he called that it was more money in their pockets. I have no doubt about that. They tell him to take it and have it placed on a machine and let them know what is found. He was left under the impression that maybe they were finally going to stand behind something or help out. That didn't happen.

He takes the truck to the Garage which is between Reading and Epharta. The truck was dropped off and placed on their machine. It was found that the thermostat was bad, the line from the engine to the turbo was bad, also noted was the fact that the jake break was in bad shape and would not hold up a whole lot longer. The jake never worked properly and now he knew why. The bill for that was $509.00. While the garage had the truck the the driver paid out of his own pocket for them to move the fifth wheel so it was centered correctly, cost $125.00. _____________ deducted the whole $509.00 off the check that same week. They waited for nothing. They stood by nothing. I understand they had no warranties, but when were they finally going to open their eyes and realize they'd sold him junk (sold ... not leased him junk?).

A few days later (2) he's driving across the turnpike the truck had bad caps and when it blew it sounded like a bomb went off. Scared every driver that was around him on the turnpike. Wood was flying every where because when it blew it blew the trailer floor out of his trailer (the $8000.00 trailer that he had to buy to work for the company that ______________ told him had had to work for), also bent the frame of the trailer. You guessed it. Our problem. He called _______________ yelling and screaming at this point about everything that was going wrong. He had yet to get one full week of work in. He was adveraging about two loads a week, sometimes he'd manage to squeeze two loads out and two back. He just kept going deeper and deeper on the minus side between repairs, breakdowns, and truck payments. The whole time _________________ is getting theirs no matter what.

________________ finally agreed the truck was giving him nothing but problems. That it has been costing him money. They told him to come down when he got a chance and he could have his pick of anything on the lot and trade it. Now my understanding of pick and trade is that you exchange to even up the only thing that should change would be vin numbers, titles, model etc. it was not the drivers fault the truck was faulty and they had nothing to compare as far as year and price. He really wanted out of the contracted, but then he was BLACK BALLED! A major loss because they ( _________________ ) got the truck back and he lost all that money he placed into faulty equipment. They will not reimburse any monies that he had to invest in the faulty equipment that they admitted was faulty when they exchanged it.

So much money went into that faulty equipment ( a truck that the driver no longer has ) but he paid for all the repairs. Soon someone else will have that equipment with all the money the driver put into it because the driver is responsible for all servicing, maintenance and repairs. This is unfair. Why should the driver have to pay for the work of a truck he does not own? Is not buying and will never have again?

He ended up trading because his hands were tied behind his back. He was told quote/unquote he could get out of the contract but the condition was they kept any money coming in and if they felt he owed anymore they would bill him for that amount. He will pay that amount . It would be no less then $10,000 because they have a quittal fee for turning the equipment in before the contract is up and if the money is not in your maintenance account they sue you for it. Of course he has nothing in the maintenance account because he hasn't made anything to put in there and they knew it when they said that to him down there that day. They knew this threat would keep him on their hook longer. So here he was backed against the wall the noose getting tighter around his neck.

The contract states leasing. There is no APR% rates at all mentioned. If this is in fact just a lease agreement they have no business keeping his money and they should be responsible for the repairs and maintenance. If in fact this is a lease purchase they still have no business keeping his checks and should set up a payment agreement that he must uphold. If he breaks that agreement or happens to miss a payment they can repo the truck. That's how it should be. That is how it works with any dealership that sells vehicles. By this contract I am not clear what game is they are playing, but I do know they are ( were ) starving a family and putting them out of their home. The first truck was a 1993 Freightliner and the truck that it was exchanged for is a 1994 International. They re-wrote the contract changed the numbers but one contract states something the other does not.

________________ purchases trucks sight unseen. They do no over all maintance of the equipment they purchase. They have no documents of maintenance or up keep on the equipment they purchase ( if they do they are not sharing it ), yet they turn right around and sell this equipment to dupes who are desperate or want to get a start ( ha ha a start ). They'll admit to you they know nothing about the equipment. Yet they can tell you who had the trucks prior. When you call the company where the truck was originally (prior to ____________ purchasing them they have the maintenance records on the truck, but will not release the information. So guys lease a truck from _________________ not knowing when the last oil change was, when the last over haul was. Knowing nothing at all about the equipment but assume they can get this information by calling the companies where the truck use to be leased to.

Now he got it and he got it good. Their tactics forced him into this second contract. By trading the truck it was an addmission on their part that there was a problem. They traded for a 1994 International. It added an additional $4000 to the cost. Once again a reminder.

The driver paid for all those repairs on the Frieghtliner and when he inquired with ____________ about giving him back that money he put into that truck they declined to do so. So now they have the Frieghtliner with all these new repairs, adjusted fifth wheel and he is out all that money on a truck the he don't even have. They have that truck plus all repairs and the drivers money. It was a defective truck. It was junk and garage admitted that there were other things that would go wrong. The guy who fixed the blown tire told him the recaps would not hold up much longer. They were looking pretty bad. Cost to him for a truck he don't even have. I feel this cost should be reinbursted to him. That ________________ should be responsible for the damages and things that went wrong for trying to sell a defective vehicle at a high price. Because they admitted there was something wrong with the truck verbally and by trading it in for another replacement. Admission because they re-wrote another contract. They should give all repair monies back to the driver because it was not neglect on his part. It was on their part. On top of it this truck the Freightliner is back at the same Garage where it was to begin with, so now _______________ is paying for the additional problems they are now aware of because of when the driver took the truck in himself and paid for the major problems out of his own pocket.

What was invested in that truck that they will not adjust and make right:

$634.00 for repairs done at Truck Service Garage
$350.00 for the hoses that were bad and left him sit
$1.00 for the ends on the starter cable because service guy was in a good mood
$149.40 for tire blow out on tractor
$349.00 for another recap that blew on the turnpike naturally.

The loads lost and days of work lost due to break downs and service calls. The service fees and charges for the advances to pay these service calls and bills.

Plus all the little odds and ends, lights, light covers, his personal labor that was spent repairing the things that he could personally fix himself. REMINDER: he had the truck only 10 weeks and three of those weeks were down time until it was leased on. Also each break down would cost him a day or more. He wants all monies refunded and returned. It was his money. He does not have the equipment.

There is a charge for ________________ so called emergency fund which they deduct when they have to advance from the emergency funds/maintenance fund. Why should he be charged from his own maintence account? Even if the money had been in there why should he be charged to use his own money to make repairs? It was not coming out of the maintenance account, no rather it was being deducted straight off the checks and it kept it from going to the maintenance account. Had the truck not broke down all the time the money that was subtracted from the check would have been going into this so called account. An account with no explanation of where the money was going and if there was any interest paid on the money they hold of the drivers in this account.

The driver was in a ringer here since the day he signed those papers. He'll probably go ignored because he is the little guy and everyone knows the little guy loses no matter what. These people at ___________ should not have control over his money or any other drivers money at all. He should make his payments to them and that should be the end of it. They have no reason to have the pay checks if this is in fact a lease purchase program. There should be interest paid on the maintenance account and funds as well. There should be an explanation where these funds are being stored and he should receive documentation of such as well. It is his money, the drivers money. Not _____________. I believe that ___________ (excuse me) sees suckers coming through the door or they certainally sitting there waiting to find one, then they take advantage of the man down on his luck and use it to their own advantage.

Please read the following closely. This does not make a whole lot of sense to me at all. How can you be a lessee not purchasing and yet be responsible for everything and turn your money over to them. How can they say you have no owner interest, yet you are not allowed to break the contract and they tell you to sign by your own signature OWNER? There is no APR% rate mentioned or nothing.

I lease/rent to own my furniture but at any time I am free to break it. Not with ____________. You don't have that advantage. There is a rewrite of different documents for an exchange of trucks. Again he has not received only two checks since he had either truck. In three months he has had a total of $1100.00 sent to his house. True he does advance a few dollars which most is put back into the truck for fuel and supplies.

They have you returned all your receipts to them and they do the book keeping and record keeping. What is the sense of this if the driver is responsible for everything including his own taxes, insurances, tags and everything else? Are they by chance filing taxes with these receipts as well? Why do they need the receipts? Give the driver his money! Allow him to make the $478.50 a week payment. One time he mailed the receipts in a different envelope then he should have because he did not have one of theirs available. Once again an envelope of "their choice" so they returned the receipts to the driver telling him to mail them back in one of their envelopes. Can you believe this? This caused a delay in deductions or so the driver thought, but they had deducted them prior to sending them back? They had them in their hands and instead of using them, they returned them all to the driver paid the postage to return them. Made him repay the postage to send them back. Does this make any sense at all? What did it matter what envelope as long as they got the receipts? Something truely stinks here.

I might not be able to save this family but by gone I can protect another family from going hungry and being evicted from their home. I can protect them from scams like this.

________________ is misleading as are their phone converstaions. The old saying if it's to good to be true, it probably is.

WHAT YOU WILL HEAR AND READ!

Tells you no credit no problem... ( Should say we'll make more credit problems for you, with no problem! )

Good profitable freight company that won't cheat you ... ( The only "true" thing that's been witnessed through this whole program ).

By participating in ______________ program your poor credit rating can be restored ... ( Well maybe where the truck is concerned, but not with the rest of your creditors is what it should state! ).

Even better is where it states: This program makes you money. You take money home... ( Well all I can say here is: Show us the MONEY! )

Of course there is the page that states "You can get a truck for free" and then they explain how it works and their maintenance program ... ( Yeah if you can ever get money into the program.Maybe? )

No Credit required ... ( should say and don't expect any either ).

____________________ will provide: ... ( They provide the Truck and a place for the truck to be leased to and they get all the money after the company deducts theirs first ). 1. A late model used truck on a lease/purchase plan ( NOTE: LEASE/PURCHASE PLAN ). They also do not mention that in a month with 4 weeks in it your monthly payment will be $1914.00. A month with 5 weeks in it your monthly payments will be $2392.50. In 12 months at $1914.00 you will have made $22,968.00 in payments. But the lease states the term of the lease in their program is for 182 weeks. WHAT TILL YOU SEE THIS .... 182 weeks times the truck payment of $478.50 = $87087.00. You are given a buy-out of $36,750.00 and a final purchase price of $6500.00 ( rates depending on the truck you chose ). The $87087.00 is a little shy of double the buy out price. Their making some pretty good money at ____________________.

LINES # 3 & 4 on this lease clearly state in black and white ....

Lessee is not buying the vehicle during the term of the lease and will not have security or ownership interest in the vehicle (Then how can it be a LEASE/PURCHASE PLAN? I lease/purchase my furniture and make a weekly payment on that furniture. This should be no different using the term lease/purchase with a truck. Because what follows contradicts what you read about their program ... They should not be using the term: Lease/purchase) HERE'S WHAT IT STATES: This Lease constitutes a Lease and we are merely allowing Lessee to use the vehicle and extending to Leassee the opitions to purchase at the successful completion of the lease term.

Non-Cancelable Lease: This is a non-cancelable Lease for the itital term of the lease indicated.

2. A hauling contract with freight company ... ( True but make sure they provide trailers)

3. All start up costs provided in a managed budget plan. ( The company you lease the truck to are the ones who get you the tags, plates, permits etc. they deduct a little at a time from your wages for this. ______________ did not make it clear that it was not them themselves who provide this. _______________ provides nothing but the truck and headaches. ( It is the company you lease the truck to who provides the start up things you need for your tractor to work ).

4. A financial management system which will teach you to make the truck work for you ... ( Sure it will work for you after you've invested your life into repairing it first! ).

5. A truck maintenance management system ... ( with no interest noted and no mention of where your money is going or being stored ).

Their Dream - Again this is misleading to the consumer. It's a NIGHTMARE! No where is there a mention any where that they will keep 70% of you gross and if you are lucky and there is anything left over you'll only get a 30% cut of that. When they mail checks you have no stubs and you are required to pay all your own taxes and expenses. No where does it state that you will need your own trailers and supplies for some carriers. So you run loads .. the company you are leased onto gives you 72% and then _____________ takes 70% if there's 70% to take and if you are lucky they'll squeeze out 30% some place to send home to you and your family, which hasn't happened in this case but two times in 13 weeks. Nothing but $1100.00 for 22 weeks that includes the nine weeks without work prior to this program.

MAKE IT COME TRUE IS WHAT THEY SAY!

Call your own shots ... ( false ... no you don't because if you don't haul what is available you don't work ).

Put money in your pocket ... ( false ... not until all deductions are taken and then there is not promise you will get money in your pockets. You won't! not until you get rid of ___________ ).

Set your own schedule ... ( false ... you work as the company requires you to ).

Haul what you want ... ( false ... you haul what the company has ).

Haul where you want ... ( false ... the loads do not always go where you want. You end up in some difficult places to get out of and sometimes you are dead headed many many extra miles just to get a load ).

Now if you want to purchase their equipment you can do this but you better have fairly good credit or you are stuck in their program for a while. If you have poor credit you will have to stick with them for six months and then they will help you find some one to finance the truck. Ironically how will you ever get a good credit rating if you are always on the minus side with them? How can they possibly give you a good rating because you are always in debt?

The plan works that you keep it leased with them for at least six months ( if you have bad credit or shakey credit ) If after six months you are interested in purchasing the equipment they will help you do this by loaning you the $5000.00 down payment you will need with the finance company. So either way you are still going to be in debt to ____________. Now if you actually have a maintenance fund set back why would you need to barrow money from ____________ for the down payment you will need with a finance company? Why can't you use your own money?

Why do they say "IF" you have an interest in buying the truck? Why wouldn't you have an interest in purchasing the equipment? You are stuck with it in an unbreakable contract. It's your baby ........ And there's no doubt the truck will work for you if you get rid of ____________!

My advice to all drivers interested in leasing a truck. Giving you my honest advice. Is to ... CLEAN THEIR CREDIT UP AND GO BUY A TRUCK! MAKE IT WORK FOR THEM NOT SCAM ARTIST LIKE THIS! ....... GET THE WARRANTIES THAT GO WITH THE NEWER TRUCK! ...... AVOID THIS LEASE PROGRAM AT ALL COST!

If drivers are seriously interested in putting a noose around their necks I believe a piece of rope might cost them only three dollars verses all this. ______________ will tell you family is important and they are there to work with you. These people don't give two hoots about you or your family. You can call and beg and they will tell you what you want to hear but they don't stand behind anything and they could care less if you are going to be homeless, if you are going hungry. If they cared why won't they deducted those larger bills a little at a time knowing it will help a man and his family?

They simply don't care about "YOU!" You are nothing but a walking/driving dollar sign to these people and nothing more. Tell drivers to save their families and themselves by avoiding this program.

The worst feeling in this world is feeling like the best opitions at this point is to sell everything you own and take off. Just RUN! To go hide because of embarrassment, and knowing you will never be able to get yourself out of this mess no matter what. Being afraid to open the door or answer the phone because you know it's a bill collector wanting money. You know their tired of your excuses and you are tired of giving them excuses and reasons just the same about why there is no money.

At this point there is nothing to do, but sell everything and Run! That's the truth. We have had nothing but $1100.00 sent to this home in 22 weeks. There is something seriously wrong with this whole picture. I can't thank ______________ enough for taking him to his lowest point. For making his family look like dirt. For destroying their reputations. Their credit was already shot and that's partly why he went there. He sure didn't need their help making him look worse then he already did, but they succeeded in doing just that. He didn't need help dragging himself down.

I do hope all the _______________ employees are eatting well and sleeping well. Heaven knows the driver has been a big help to keeping a roof over their heads while his own family will soon be with empty bellies and no roof at all over their heads. I really do hope ______________ is happy with what they have done to a trucker. It's not like the truckers don't already have enough people out here bashing him around a ripping him off.

_________________ has only been in business now for 6 years. It is my plans to share their business on this homepage to get the word out to drivers to AVOID them at all cost. They'll starve drivers and the drivers families. I'm not crying on anyone's shoulder. I'm ticked off again.

I don't feel this operation is fair and it is of no good to any driver. The only driver who will benefit from this program is the man who has fairly decent credit and can get loan to help them get out from under the program. You can buy a used truck at any dealership. Drivers do not need these lease programs. If their credit is rough they need to work on that on their own. Don't leave that in ____________________ hands because your name will be dirt when they are finished with you.

Sure the driver has a truck and their going to make him some credit. But the only credit being established is on the truck or so they say. There is no proof of that. They explained nothing. Not the actuall facts anyway's. Just made it all sound so good and so promising. That Power of Attorney should not be allowed. No one has any business having any drivers pay checks. And no business has the right to sell faulty equipment and junk.
