Like the song says, Twenty + years where did they go? Boy do I remember the parties all night long. Started partying right after work and the party ran right into dawn. Go home catch a few winks, roll out from under the covers just in time to make it to work, and start all over again. Those were the days! I'm still a night owl, but I doubt that I could party all night long like we did yester year's. To think we always thought we'd be young forever!

I pretty much like all types of music. There's not much I won't listen to prior to the early 1990's. After the mid 1990's I said forget it. It wasn't music any longer to me. I have favorites from the 1990's and some from the 2000's. But a rapper I am not!

Now don't go getting all blah on me because I'll tell ya ... I have a 12 year old and I can not get away from the modern stuff no matter how hard I try! I am always yelling .. "TURN THAT DOWN! OR I'm going to pull the plug if you don't turn that down!" He swears he can understand the words ... that in it's self amazes me, because he can understand the words to this stuff he calls music, but he can't understand me when I am sitting right next to him asking him to do something. Imagine that!!! Either he's deaf because of the music, or I need to yell louder and mumble my words .... Hmmmmm maybe I'd get more done around here if I started sounding like ... "Slipknot, Mudvayne, Stone Sour and blah blah blah ...) It's a thought!

Now the one song by Stone Sour I admit I like. It's called "Inhale" ... okay so I like a little bit of the music, but not all. I'm hooked on matchbox Twenty, Fuel, Nickleback, Maroon 5 and a few others. But that screamin ..... Get me the ADVIL!

I went to the benefit for several reasons. One to assist my sister who did an excellent job putting that event together on such short notice! Great job Robin! Another reason I wanted to go was because I hear my sister talk about her boyfriend and his light board and sound boards and how good he is at that! She was right, Kevin does a fantastic job working the sound board and lights. Way to go Kevin! If you are looking for a light and sound guy ... "I would recommend Kevin!" I was impressed. I don't understand how one could possibly keep track of everything. But he sure knew what he was doing and he really "wowed" us with his talent!

Anyway I went to the benefit for the reasons, but I also went because my little guy was so looking forward to seeing and meeting Emily's Toybox, Back Street Law and Agony Hill.. I never heard any of them until two weeks prior to the benefit. Two weeks before the benefit Joey (my son) was jammin to their music so loudly I couldn't help but know who they were and what I was in for when I arrived there. Long story short ... they were all good! We all really enjoyed meeting them and listening to them! If you've never heard them then by all means I suggest visiting their sites and learning more about them! They are all wonderful people! ~Okay Joey you got me! I admitted it! I liked them!~ That should make his day, week and life ~smile!~

If you missed it! You really missed GREAT PERFORMANCES!
All the bands put on a Excellent show!

I don't have any albums for ~Jesse Bolt~. I have a decal some where, but will have to locate it. For now I designed a icon for them to add to my pages! I have photo's I took back in the 70's of this band when they played at Night Moves in North Carolina! I'll try to find them!

Molly Hatchet

"Fayreweather" ----- There is an interesting story behind this album cover. This was a special edition and a numbered album. No you are not seeing double. The reason it is so cool is because the album vinyl has the same picture as the photo you see below it. Yes. That is the actual vinyl album standing up. Isn't that NEAT!? And I have one!!!!

Southside Johnny. He has several albums, but "Hearts Of Stone" is my all time favorite!

The Michael Stanley band

Hello People - The Handsome Devils. You probably think they aren't real. 1974. I can't find anything about them online other than a link to AOL music. It has their names, title and list of songs, but no photo .... This is my album cover.
