The Solemn Assembly  

THE SEVEN ANNUAL HOLY PERIODS - 7 OF 7

          Solemn Assembly:  The 22nd day of the seventh month (22 Ethanim) prefigures the 22nd year of the Seventh Millennium, The LORD'S Day (Leviticus 23:36,39; Nehemiah 8:18; Colossians 2:16-17).   The Solemn Assembly represents the culmination of joy and gladness for the Congregation (Zephaniah 3:14-20).

          The Gathering is for the Solemn Assembly (Zephaniah 3:18).

          The Messiah returns following the Severe Tribulations (Matthew 24:29-31).

          Daniel's 70 Years:  The Messiah comes in Daniel's 70th year (i.e. after Daniel's 69th year) (Daniel 9:2,24-27).

          "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem (the siege of Jerusalem: Ezekiel 4:7) unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks (7 years), and threescore and two weeks (62 years) (a total of 69 years)...."

Daniel 9:2,25

          The Life-Span Of A Generation is 70 years (Psalm 90:10; Jeremiah 29:10).

          The Parable Of The Fig Tree:  Seventy years (a generation) have been highlighted relative to the fig tree and people have been cautioned to learn this parable for that generation (70 years) shall not pass until all these things be accomplished (Matthew 24:32-35; Psalm 90:10; Mark 13:28-31; Luke 21:29-33).   And the parable refers to events of the severe tribulations that everyone can see (Matthew 24:3-28; Mark 13:5-22; Luke 21:7-24).   Therefore, as humanity approaches the glorious Solemn Assembly the descriptive events of the Severe Tribulations should become more and more obvious.   And the 35 years of Severe Tribulations do not end until 6021 from Creation ends in the spring of 2017 AD.   The year of the Solemn Assembly then commences.

          The Consummation Of The Marriage:  Now, on the Solemn Assembly the temporary marriage (Betrothal) of the wise virgins (Hosea 2:19-21) is to be made permanent (Revelation 19:7-9; Isaiah 62:4-5).

          Recap:  (1) The glorious Solemn Assembly is in the year 6022 from Creation depicted by the 22nd day of the Seventh month (Ethanim).   (2) The Messiah arrives for His Betrothed Wife in Daniel's 70th year.   And Daniel's 70 years began with 5953 from Creation (i.e. in the Spring of 1948 AD) and are to be completed at the end of 6022 from Creation (i.e. in the Spring of 2018 AD).   (3) The Severe Tribulations encompass 35 years and are to be completed at the end of 6021 from Creation (i.e. in the Spring of 2017 AD).   (4) The Messiah arrives immediately after the Severe Tribulations have ended (Matthew 24:29-31).   That is, the Solemn Assembly is in the year 6022 from Creation.

          The Day And Hour:  The day and hour of the true Messiah's return should be obvious to everyone:  The Day is The LORD'S Day, also called The Last Day, which is also the Third Day from the 5 BC Birth of Jesus Christ.   The Hour is the Final 42 Year-Hour also called "The Hour Of Doom" in the Koran (Dawood Translation).   And, a more specific time within that Hour is on the Glorious Solemn Assembly.   Scripture, of course, goes to great lengths expounding upon these events in order that true believers will not be misled by events surrounding the false Messiah.   Again, examine Matthew 24:50-51 which cautions people to learn "when."

          Caution:  Beware of deceivers who misapply the following verses to the Messiah's arrival on the glorious Solemn Assembly.

          "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My (GOD'S) Words shall not pass away.

          "But of that day and hour (when GOD'S Word will pass away) Knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My (Jesus') Father only."

Matthew 24:35-36

          Yes, His Word, obviously, is not going to pass away (Psalm 19:7-11; Deuteronomy 4:2; Proverbs 30:5-6; Matthew 5:17-19; Revelation 22:18-19).
