Welcome to my eggery site!

I started etching and carving Emu eggs about two years ago. I had no idea at the time that I was starting something that I would become so addicted to. Most all of my eggs are made from my own designs and are one of a kind. I have given most of my eggs as gifts to family and friends. I have also sold some on ebay and to local folks who bought them and gave them as Christmas Gifts. I especially like cutting out designs in the shell and inserting Angels, butterflies, cherubs, and hummingbirds inside the egg.

This particular emu egg just won first place in the "Extravagant Emu Egg Contest" at Emuszine.com. It also won "Best Of Show." The Wedding Emu Egg shown here has two hinged doors. The openings around the doors have been trimmed inside and out with fake pearls. The doors outside have been trimmed with gold braid ribbon, also each door sports a gold cupid and decoupaged pink roses. The handles are round gold findings with a pearl in center and string of pearls with gold filigree capped teardrop pearl hanging down. Inside sits the lovely bride and groom cake topper from my daughters wedding cake. The inside of the doors have wedding bells and small heart decals in gold. This particular egg is NOT for sale but I can duplicate it if anyone is interested. It will not be exactly like this one as it is impossible to duplicate exactly. Each egg is unique and one of a kind.
