Quick Disconnect Swivel Ball Mount

The Quick Disconnect Swivel Ball Mount is solid brass and comes with a 2 inch stainless steel base. Can be used with the 4 inch backing plates when mounting to the side of your car. Also in combination with the co-axial cable connectors as well. It requires a 5/8 inch hole For mounting. The locking bolt for the swivel ball is also stainless steel to insure function and good Looks. The ball mount will hold the antenna quite well. The secret is the fact that brass is a sticky metal. The ball mount is solid metal with a lot of threads for the bolt. When you secure the ball halves real tight, (get some leverage on that bolt and lock it down, the extra threads make it strong enough) then the brass metal has to tear before it can slip, what they call gualding.

The insulators are interlocking to protect the mounting bolt from grounding out. The over-all Height is four inches and it weights in at just a little over one pound. Just a light tightening By hand secures the Antenna. The sticky Nature of brass insures That it will not vibrate Loose. Actually harder To take off than the Amount tightened.
