Flat Top Swivel Ball Mount

The "Flat Top" swivel ball antenna mount is solid brass and features a 1&1/2 inch mounting face to help support the big antennas'. The ball mount will hold any antenna quite well. The secret is the fact that brass is a sticky metal. The ball mount is solid metal with a lot of threads for the bolt and when you secure the ball halves real tight, (get some leverage on that bolt and lock it down, the extra threads make it strong enough) then the brass metal has to tear before it can slip, what they call gualding. The mount comes with a 2 inch OD stainless Steel base plate as well as the locking bolt for the ball halves, is stainless steel. The mount can be used with the 4 inch backing plates for mounting to the side of your car. Also in combination with the co-axial cable connector. The over-all height is 3&5/8 inches and weighs in at a little over one pound. It requires a 5/8 inch hole to mount with a 3/8-24 thread on top but this can be ordered with any Thread size required for special applications if ordered 10 or more.
