This web site has been created due to the overwhelming response to my Marx Horse remakes being sold on E-bay, and the requests from other collectors for this information. On this site, I'm going to give tips and tricks of the trade to repair and or remake Marx Horses. I'll give a bit of history on Marx itself, as well as some background on how I got involved in it. And, of course, I'll include lots of pictures of the results of my "experiments". For those of you who are Marx horse collectors....I never ever redo a good classic! Collectables are just that..Collectable! My remakes are two steps from the trash can when I get them...Bad paint loss, extensive melt marks, badly split seams, missing ears and tails. So put you're mind at ease, the good ones will NEVER be changed by yours truly. |
