I thought I'd include some neat small apps that are pretty useful in every day computing. these are all freeware or shareware.
To SAVE these programs to your own computer, just right click on the button beside the description and "save as". Please DO NOT link to my files. Save them to your own computer. Thank you. :)

Most are Zip files. If you need Winzip, you can get it here.

(All of these apps I scanned for your safety before uploading, with Norton Anti-Virus. Always be sure and scan a file when you download from the net.)

AboutTime is a small app that allows you to set your
computer clock by The U.S. Naval Observatory, NASA, or
NIST. ( 57 K)

Is your "Add/Remove Programs" list full of broken links?
This nice app will sort out the good from the bad. ( 151 K)

AxelPlayer is a very small but nice midi/wave player. ( 51 K)

This app is so cool. You can have it read for you. Open a text
document and then open the program. It's too easy! Can use
different voices. ( 232 K)

This is a really nice greeting card maker. You can use your
own pics and music. Only drawback, is you have to use .bmp's.
Still, I love this one. ( 411 K)

Holiday Lights is a cool shareware program ( $15), but does
have some nice features and worth the effort. Offers
different types of lights for different holidays, and you
can play music too. ( 147 K)

ListPics creates an HTML file out of the graphic files in a
directory, then you can load it in your web browser to view.
( 32 K)

Magic Spell allows yor to "hear" your ICQ messages!
(Requires Microsoft Agent Components) ( 183 K)

Hyper Alarm is a Windows app which lets you wake up to
your favorite MP3 Song. It uses an external MP3 player
of your selection which plays your song at a specified time.
(Requires Visual Basic 5) ( 41 K)

Multilingual Speaking Clock actually speaks the time.
Comes with English, Spanish and Dutch, but you can get
other languages. ( 796 K)

Octopus is an automatic FTP and HTTP File Downloader.
It allows You to download a file from the server through
several threads concurrently. Each thread loads a part of
the file beginning at a different position. ( 784 K)

Here is everything you need to change that tacky recycle
bin into a gorgeous new outhouse. :) ( I can't be serious ALL
the time! ) ( 3 K)

It checks your CD-ROM and tells you which files are
corrupted. It is especially useful for testing old CDs or
just burned CDs to see if they are OK. ( 263 K)

This is for those of you who distribute a lot of jokes. It gets
rid of all of the Unix reply marks ('>') and the lines that get
chopped up by multiple word-wrapping. ( 160 K)

Harm'sTile99 is a graphics application that creates
seamless tiles for use as Windows wallpaper or web page
backgrounds. It can also be used for photo re-touching. ( 383 K)

scrambled. Don't delete that file! This wonderful app will
"uncook" the file and the MP3 will play perfectly. One of
the best utilities I've found, and so tiny!. ( 35 K)
