Gay-Affirming Christian Church Announces Spring Revival
Local Metro Area Ministry to Hold Revival Services & Relationships Workshop
LANGLEY, VA; March 10, 1999 — The Open Church of Jesus Christ today announced a Spiritual Revival to be held on April 23-24, 1999. This series of revival meetings begins on Friday evening, continues during the regular Saturday morning Sabbath worship and noontime potluck supper, and concludes with a "Relationships Workshop" on Saturday afternoon.
"We are excited to announce that Pastor Sandy Schuster and Pastor Maddie Isaacson of Covenant Word Fellowship, Hurst, Texas, will be with us to share the Anointed Word," exclaimed Pastor Dale Jarrett. "They will be preaching and offering a time for personal ministry and the laying-on-of-hands in the New Testament tradition! These beautiful, anointed women of God will also be holding their instructional, in-depth workshop, "Developing God-Centered Relationships."
The services begin on Friday night, April 23, at 7:30 p.m., with the regular monthly Praise and Renewal Service featuring The Witness Praise Team & Band. On Saturday, April 24, the revival continues during the regular Sabbath worship which starts at 11:00 a.m. Following a noontime potluck dinner, the "Developing God-Centered Relationships" Workshop will be presented at 2:30 p.m. Presented free of charge — a love offering will be received in lieu of admission.
All events will be held at The Langley Hill (Friends) Meeting House, 6410 Georgetown Pike, Langley, Virginia and will be ASL interpreted for the hearing impaired.
