I never had time to cover this aspect
of Max's life in Innocence Lost, but I've always wanted
him and Richard to be best friends. After Max, Richard is the
next kid that's always caught my eye in Bart's class. It's funny
no kids in Lisa's class have ever caught my attention. I'm still
not sure what's going on here but I think this could work well
as a cut scene after Max looses his mother. Him and Richard have
a favorite secret hang out in the woods that only they know about.
Max came here to mourn and Richard found him crying by the stream.
As a good friend he wants to cheer Max up, but what can he say
about that? He finds himself at a loss for words and isn't sure
what to do.
I'm very pleased with how this turned
out. I don't know why it came out so well since I really didn't
do anything different in my painting techniques. I'm not complaining.
Whatever it was I hope I do it again.
