Frink has just turned Max
over after he fell to the curve from being shot. The little boy
hit the ground face down and shattered his glasses in the process.
This is from Frink's point of view. His eye sight is terrible
so the edges outside frame are blured while the the view of his
lost son is in clear focus. Those wide lifeless eyes that few
ever saw now stare back at Frink and as the hard realization sets
in.
This was my first time trying
different blur effects in photoshop and I think it's not bad for
a first attempt. This drawing was very hard to work with the whole
time because I could just feel the moment everytime I looked at
it. It hasn't been easy on the author either ;)
