Father and son are left alone
after Caroline's funeral. It's as though they are the only two
people in the world and they can not understand why this has happened.
I really LIKE this
drawing! We are now in my favorite stage of the story. I do believe
my gift is in portraying pain in sorrow, be it physical or emotional,
in art and writing. It is my favorite thing to do and I'm right
there with the characters feeling their pain. Frink's expression
is one of my favorites, he has to stay strong for Max. Max is
a child so he displays sorrow and fear freely on his little face.
I like bright colors but it was a nice change to do these darks
for the stormy weather. This was fun and painful to draw, very
few of you out there will understand that. This is the small version
of the drawing. I may or may not put up the full size one with
all its detail.
