Everything changed for Frink after Max died. He completely lost it and became very emotionless. Without Max around he saw no reason to keep Floyd who has been nothing but an annoyance to him since he was created. Without Caroline there was no reason to keep the death ray in storage, besides he has big plans for it now. Still not enough funding to make it work the way he wants Frink just takes what parts he can from Frink Labs and Thanatos Industries and improves his gun as best he can. The first test was preformed of course on Floyd. It worked and that's all that mattered. In the story there were no conversations between the two, he merely called Floyed and blew him away. If Frink had any feelings he would have enjoyed that, but he felt nothing. I thought of possible conversations and came up with this.
"Floyd! Get in here!"
"Yes...master...? Gasp. No...please don't. What would Max think?"
Frink responds in a flat monotone voice, "Max isn't here."

I like the second one much better but opted for silence in the final version. I like the picture of Max looking on as Frink kills Floyd. Max is probably upset about this in the afterlife. He certainly would not have allowed it to happen when he was alive. I also like the magnetic key holder on the wall. When the family came in, all the had to do was throw their keys on the wall.
