This is the opening scene
in chapter 19. What a way to start huh? Owen had been insulting
Frink, mostly telling him that he was ugly. He expected Frink
to just sit there and take it, but he did not. His response to
the barrage of insults was, "Ok Pretty boy, at least *I*
have a wife." Not realizing he really hit a nerve with that
one. Not only that, but how dare this creep stand up for himself?!?
Owen responds with a punch to the face. Being a geek himself Owen
isn't exactly a brawler, but it doesn't take much to knock out
the frail Frink and that was enough to send the professor to the
ground. Of course Owen won't just leave it at that and proceeds
to pound the stuffing out of him. Both are the same height, but
Owen does have more bulk.
I REALLY like this drawing
and had a fun time making it. Owen's always full of hate but you
can tell he really enjoyed doing that. Frink's in a world of hurt
and in no possition to fight back. I like the way the machinary
turned out on this as well, especially on the left. Speaking of
left, Owen punched Frink with his left hand and that's a good
thing. I didn't mention this in the story, but had he punched
him with his right hand, Frink could easily have gone over the
railing and that would have been the end of the story. This is
actually the small version of the drawing. The full size one is
much cleaner bigger and 142 kb.
