Caroline
has only appeared once on the Simpsons in the episode Grampa vs.
Sexual Inadecquacy. She was with Frink when he took Grampa's love
potion. In Innocence Lost she is Frink's wife. Caroline is very
energetic, cheery, supportive and sweet. She loves Frink very
much and supports him and stands up for him when others put him
down. A bright little scientist in her own right, Caroline has
a doctorate in Biology/Genetics and Physics. She loves to read
and study things on her own apart from all the projects that she
already has. She loves life and becomes very excited emiting high
pitched squeals when she's happy. She's proud of her son Max and
love to play with him and tickle him until he can't breath.

Instead
of making a new character to be Frink's wife I decided to use
an existing character and one whom the fans have already assumed
is Frink's wife. Again like Max,
she didn't have a name. At least she spoke unlike Max. SO, I took
the liberty to name her Caroline. Why Caroline? Well it's a pretty
name for a pretty girl. I think she's really cute. Also I am a
huge fan of Neil Diamond and when I hear the song Sweet Caroline
I can't help to think that it is Frink singing it about his girl.
Ooh isn't the picture above cute? I wanted to draw her with her
hair down. Like Marge she tends to wear her hair up all the time
in that bun. It's for practical reasons, hair has to be pulled
back in labs for safety reasons. But she does look nice with it
down. I've had fun working with her and am surprised I've been
able to draw her in so many poses when she hardly ever moved on
the show. My references were limited and we'd only seen her from
the waist up. I'm really happy with how she's turned out and she's
perfect for Frink. The cutest family of nerds you've ever seen.
