A Bit Of Info:Billie Joe Armstrong was born the youngest in a family of 6 children in Rodeo, California. His father was a truck driver and had a part time job of playing jazz. BJ's father died when he was ten from cancer. His mother waitressed for a job. BJ sung in hospitals as a child to cheer up patients. BJ later recorded his first song when he was five called "Look For Love". BJ's first ablum was Elvis Presley's 'The Sun Sessions'. Later on, his friends got him into punk bands like DOA, TSOL, and the Dead Kennedys. BJ got his first guitar at eleven that he still plays today. When he was 14 he wrote his first song "Why Do You Want Him".
