Sonya Blade
Sonya Blade was a Special Forces agent who’s partner was killed by Kano. She was overcome with a need to get revenge. This led her to follow Kano to Outworld, despite her new partner, Jax, objections. She fought Kano and won. She was going to finish him off, but Shao Kahn captured them. Sonya was later freed by a Special Forces team led by Shao Kahn. No one in Earthrealm believed her about Outworld. Then Shao Kahn invaded and everyone was forced to believe her. Sonya then had no trouble convincing her superiors to form the Outworld Investigation Agency. After the threat from Shao Kahn was over Sonya’s team was sent to destroy all inter-realm portals. While in Outworld destroying the portals, she received word from Jax that the Agency’s portal had been destroyed by Hsu Hao leaving them stuck in Outworld.
