Ermac
When Shao Kahn invaded Earthrrealm he proposed a deal with the Lin Kuei. He told them that if they could obtain the sacred remains of their fallen warriors, he would spare them and allow the fallen Lin Kuei to be revived. The Lin Kuei would then join Shao Kahn’s forces. The Lin Kuei obtained the remains and Shao Kahn went back on his words. He betrayed the Lin Kuei and killed them. He had their souls stolen and the fallen Lin Kuei’s souls stolen too. All of the souls were combined to form a single entity, Ermac. His loyalty was to Shao Kahn and he became a general in his army. During the invasion Ermac disappeared and is considered a casualty of war.
