The Dragon King
Not much is known about the Dragon King. What is known is he was the former ruler of Outworld. Which seems to suggest that Shao Kahn didn’t decide to call the territory he conquered Outworld, there was already a place called Outworld that he conquered. The Dragon king had an army of undefeatable soldiers and somehow he disappeared. So did the dragons. One last dragon was left and it was prophesized that when it hatched, the Dragon King would return. It soon became evident this event wouldn’t happen doing his followers lifetimes. His army all ceremonial killed themselves and their bodies were mummified, so they could be revived when he returned. The Dragon King’s priest’s hid the dragon’s egg in a volcano and trapped the elemental known as Blaze and forced him to protect the egg.
