tape #1 3 songs w/vig,oasis; first 13 songs recorded as a trio,w/ no bass or bass petals. mono recording
tape # 2 recorded sept.'82, originally two tape series, only vol 2 remains.17 songs w/ bass petals tape # 3 & 4 : mystery tapes.
#3 was copied from a tape that bruce nason owns. don't know much about it, has bass petals, 10 songs, recorded in stereo, late '82
#4 : don't know much about this one either. 6 songs, stereo, found on backside of a fact or fear tape, recorded probable early'83
tapes #5 & 6 recorded jan '83 two tape series recorded in stereo on metal tapes. #5 16 songs including the only recording of rennaissance man. #6 14 songs.
there have been a few recordings of george and i since quest, in '84 george came to melbourne and played flute over two home studio songs of mine. in '89 george sent me a tape of a song of his, which i played over and made two mixes of it.xmas 2000 i sent a cd of my techno tunes to george, who is hopefully going to play over some of them and remix the tunes.i am waiting to hear on this from george .
it may be that joey, george, or bruce have more tapes stashed away somewhere, but until they surface, this is the quest legacy. i am in the process now of digitaly remastering and transfering my taped songs to cd & mp3 formats, so that quest and my other bands can live on...
