RENAISSANCE MAN!
the crowning achievement of QUEST
R.M. was a concept story,somewhat in the vein of 2112 by RUSH.there were seven songs with narration between that strung the pieces together into a 45 minute set of nonstop sound! we each played parts,george-the story's hero,joe-the seer, and the narrator, me-the evil minions. the story was about a loner young musician, who spent his days making flutes for sale, and enjoying the simple life in his wooded home.he was seen in a vision by a wizard, and it was he who was sought out to find, and play the magick flute which would drive back the evil armies to west kaylon, and ultimately restore the magick boundry between them and the evil ones. the story climaxes with a guitar/flute battle.
