I am working on a young adult series that is about fifteen-year-old Chenoa Fawn Gray Owl's spiritual journey. Chenoa and her four-year-old brother River live in Whiteriver, Arizona on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation. I have finished books One, Two, and Three. I am working on book Four. I have planned on this being a nine book series, but that is subject to change.

Chenoa and her family travel to Ohio to visit with their mother's childhood friends Douglas and Barbara Ream for the holidays. Her father wants to ask Douglas for a position at his clinic. He's thinking about his children's future but Chenoa feels it's an inconvenience.

While in Ohio her parents die in a car crash and the Reams become the kid's legal guardians. Chenoa must adjust to living with her parents and living off the reservation. Although Chenoa's parents were Christians, she wasn't and thus her spiritual journey begins.
