Cailein Mor's (Colin Campbell) ancestor seems to have been Diarmid O'Duin (Gaelic name is Duibhne), in England known as Clan Diarmid.


Sir Duncan Campbell was made a nobleman as Lord Campbell in 1425. Sir Duncan Campbell, a Knight was the father of Arthur, and our ancestor, Colin. Children were:
