I am trying to use this page to contact people to help with my genealogy research.The genealogy of my family is not the only thing of importance to me: I witnessed as a little boy in March 17th 1945 in the village Eisen, municipality Nohfelden, distrikt St. Wendel, Saarland, Germany, a german soldier (Lance corporal of the artillery) of the 256th German-Artilleryregiment/256th VGD was killed in a confrontation with U.S. forces (soldiers of the 94th US-Inf.Div.). - His name is still unknown. -
I would like to find out his name, so his dignity can be restored.
