Sheila was introduced into Y&R as a shy woman, applying for the lab assistant position Dr Scott Grainger advertised. Sheila and Scott had instant chemistry, which upset his wife, Lauren Fenmore. At the time of Sheila's arrival, Scott and Lauren were having marital problems, Scott tried to keep his personal life away from his new assistant, but Sheila soon gained Scott's trust and soon learned of her employers problems. Sheila became Scott's confidant, until one day she realised that she had deep feelings for him. Sheila set her mind on winning the man of her dreams, but one thing stood in her way, his wife, Lauren! Sheila pulled every trick in the book to lure the unsuspecting doctor into her bed, but Scott was determined to reunite with Lauren. Sheila was devastated!

The first major twist came when Lauren learned she was pregnant with Scott's child. Sheila panicked, she was going to lose Scott. Tragedy struck when Lauren miscarried the child, devastating both Scott and Lauren.

Lauren and Scott quickly reunited, but the chemistry died thanks to Sheila's interference.

Lauren and her ex-husband, Paul, became very close, and Scott confused a friendly kiss between Lauren and Paul for a kiss of passion. He ran to Sheila for a shoulder to cry on, during which Sheila offered him a drink, little did Scott know she'd drugged the drink with a substance to quickly exhaust the drinker! Scott soon weakened and gave into Sheila's sexual advances. From this one night stand, Sheila became pregnant with Scott's child, amazingly, Lauren discovered at the same time that she, too, were pregnant with Scott's child!

Sheila knew that with Scott and Lauren no longer together, she had the best chance of winning him! Sheila discovered Lauren's pregnancy and panicked again, this time she would surely lose Scott! Lauren kept her pregnancy from Scott, with sat well with the now satisfied Sheila.

Sheila's mum, Molly, came to town to meet Scott, and discovered her daughter's pregnancy, she was overjoyed. Lauren arranged to tell Scott about her pregnancy when Sheila interrupted and announced their recent engagement, Lauren was shocked and left. Sheila sat alone at the apartment and promised herself never to let Lauren interfere with their lives, this was the first sign of her "insanity"!
Lauren and Paul became even closer, which pushed Scott in Sheila's direction. Lauren began wanting Scott back and once again raced over to tell of her pregnancy, little did she know she was to walk straight into the middle of a wedding ceremony, Scott and Sheila's! A teary Lauren fled the scene, devastated.

After months of fighting for Scott's affection, both women finally gave birth, or so everyone thought. During a suspense filled finale to the long-time storyline, it was revealed that Sheila had actually miscarried and during scenes which shocked the world, fans saw Sheila sneak into the hospital and steal Lauren's baby! Sheila then met with a corrupt Lawyer, and paid him to have a baby to relace the one she stole!

Lauren visited her "son" in hospital, but had no clue as to what had happened!
Scott and Sheila were happy with their son, who they named Scotty. Lauren named her son Dylan. Scott took Scotty over to visit Lauren, when Sheila exploded, accusing him of still having feelings for Lauren, Scott denied everything. Sheila's trouble's seemed to be over until her mother came back to Genoa-City with a shocking secret! She knew what Sheila had done! Sheila tried to stop her mother from telling Lauren, but Scotty began crying and Molly slipped out of the room and raced over to Fenmore's! On the way there, Molly had a severe stroke, breaking her speech and movement to a mere minimum. Sheila's secret was safe once more. Sheila institutionalised her mother, and tried to keep Lauren away from her scared mum.

During this time, Dylan became terminally ill and was rushed to hospital. Lauren demanded only Scott treat her son, Scott did his best to save the dying child, but tragedy struck, and Lauren's son died. At the same time of the death, Scott received word that Dylan wasn't really his, he kept this from Lauren.

Lauren isolated herself from everyone for months after Dylan's tragic death, Paul and Scott tried to help her through her grief, nothing worked!

Scotty bought baby Scotty to see Lauren, without Sheila’s knowledge, Lauren’s day was brightened! Meanwhile, Sheila was doing her best to get her mother moved from the hospital in case Lauren found Molly! A nurse asked Sheila if she would like the sign for speech classes for her mother, Sheila refused and demanded that her mother get no speech therapy! Molly tried to get a nurse to call Lauren, but she couldn’t speak....

Lauren found Molly and went to visit - Molly was asleep and was not able to talk to the fiery red-head! Lauren talked to Paul about Molly’s condition and he assured her Molly was in the best of care.

Sheila found out about Lauren’s visit and yelled at the nurse and demanded Lauren not be allowed access into Molly’s room! Lauren turned up on day and was refused entry! She was furious - so she raced to Scott’s and demanded she se Molly! Scott agreed and arranged a visit! Sheila was visiting her mother when a nurse informed her of Lauren’s second visit and how she had upset Molly! What was she doing here?, Sheila screamed, your husband allowed the visit! SCOTT! Sheila made arrangements for Molly to move home back to Grand Rapids. Finalising the plans, Sheila left to confront Scott.

Scott demanded Sheila calm down but she screamed at him for allowing Lauren in, Why are you scared? Scott asked.... Sheila panicked and went to attend her son. Scott stormed out and went to see Lauren, who seduced him. Scott and Lauren made love!

Molly was moved the her farm house in Grand Rapids, Michigan, not even Scott knew! As Molly was being moved, she placed a photo of a baby of the chair beside her bed, in the hopes Lauren would find it! While back home, Molly tried to speak, but was unable to, so one of her caretaker, Doris, decided to give Molly speech therapy lessons in hope to surprise Sheila with her mother quick recovery!
Lauren went to visit Molly but she was gone. Lauren blasted the nurse for details, but no-one knew anything! Lauren saw the photo on the chair and snatched it up, determined that Molly had left it as a clue!

Lauren asked for Paul’s help, but they could not identify the baby.
Lauren asked Scott about Molly and he told her Sheila had moved her back to Grand Rapids, Lauren went for a visit! She snuck into Scott’s room and stole his diary in order to get Molly’s address, she returned the diary before it was noticed missing! Sheila got a call from Naomi at the farm house, who informed a furious Sheila that Lauren was on her way to visit Molly! Sheila jumped on the first plane over and got to the house before Lauren. Sheila lied and told the elderly women that Lauren was nothing but a trouble maker and she should be thrown out the moment she gets here! Sheila heard a car pulling up in the drive way and stabbed her mother with a needle, a sedative! Molly drifted into a sleep. Lauren was aloud inside while Sheila hid in the next room. Lauren became suspicious about Molly’s condition and demanded to know what was going on when Sheila appeared! Naomi called the police and they asked Lauren to leave!

Lauren returned to Genoa City and visited Scott, she told him about Sheila’s weird behaviour, and Scott told Lauren to back off!

Lauren asked Paul to deliver a present to Molly, a large screen TV! Paul was ordering the TV shipping when the courier said something about the weather being far worse than last year! That’s not possible, Paul replied, Sheila said she couldn’t leave her mothers home because of a blizzard! She was lying! Paul called Lauren and they came up with a theory - Scotty wasn’t Scott’s child! Lauren devised a plan to take blood samples for a paternity test! Sheila was very reluctant to have her blood taken, but did so! Sheila panicked about the blood and decided she has to stop them from sampling her blood! She disguised herself as a nurse and entered the lab where the blood work was being done and then “accidentally” dropped her vale! She was safe! Lauren was devastated to learn Scotty was Scott’s!
Scott forced Sheila to call Lauren and to thank her for the insurance policy! Sheila made a remark about Lauren’s son dying and Lauren raced over to confront Sheila! They yelled and screamed at one another before exchanging blows! The two had their first official CAT-FIGHT! Two nurses broke the fight up!A few days later, it was the anniversary of Dylan’s death! And Lauren was heart broken! She stayed home from work, so Scott and Paul paid visits, but she wouldn’t cheer up. Scott went home and bought Scotty to visit Lauren. Lauren’s spirits lifted up amazingly! Sheila called Lauren’s in hope to not find Scott there, but he answered the phone and Sheila lost it! The next day, Sheila bought a gun, raced over the Lauren’s.... The two women argued for a while before Lauren got a phone call, it was Molly and she asked Lauren to come to her home ASAP! Lauren wrote down the number and tried to leave but Sheila grabbed her arm. The two fought and Sheila threw Lauren to the floor and took out her gun! Sheila kidnapped Lauren at gunpoint and then drove to her mother's farm house, where Molly was expecting Lauren alone! Molly gasped when her daughter arrived and asked Naomi and Doris to leave! Molly sensed something was terribly wrong and begged them to stay! They left! Sheila asked her mum if she could be excused, and when she returned, she had Lauren bound and gagged! Lauren, Molly and Sheila all sat at the farm house, throwing insults at one another until it was finally revealed that Lauren's baby had been switched! Lauren screamed at Sheila and the two struggled! Lauren kicked Sheila away and she fell onto a table knocking over a lit lantern, causing a raging fire! Sheila raced out of the raging inferno, leaving Lauren and her mother to die! Paul and Lyn arrived just in time to save Lauren and Molly Carter. They left the house just as the roof collapsed! Both women were unconscious, but were revived when paramedics arrived. Molly and Lauren began adjusting to new life without the super-bitch! Six months later, Sheila arrived back in Genoa-City to settle the score with Lauren! Molly convinced her not to see Lauren or even contact her, Sheila agreed! Instead, she took photo's of Lauren and Bradley Carlton making love. Developing the pics, she got them turned into a jigsaw puzzle and sent them to the red-head one by one! When the puzzle was complete, she confronted Lauren! Lauren wished she knew where Sheila was, and went to L.A. on a business trip, where she ran into Sheila at Forrester creations! During the fashion show, Sheila wore the showstopper and as Sheila was about to accept Eric Forrester's proposal when Lauren jumped onto the stage and told everyone, in front of the international media, about Sheila wicked past! But, it was later revealed to be a dream by the hospitalised Sheila! Lauren and Sheila had another one of their famous fights, except this time, Sheila's wedding dress was torn, and she had to find another one post hast! During the wedding ceremony, Lauren stood up to object to the wedding, a devastated Sheila ran from the church! Lauren left L.A. thinking she had finished the bitch off! One day, Lauren received a call from Stephanie Forrester, "Sheila and Eric did marry!" Lauren raced back to L.A. and confronted Sheila. Nothing was accomplished! Months passed and Lauren hadn't heard a thing from Sheila until she and Scott decided to hol iday in the Carribean’s! Sheila and Eric were there too! Scott died whilst there, making Lauren promise she'd never tell on Sheila! Lauren reluctantly agreed! Lauren left, as did the others. A few more months passed and Eric really wanted a divorce from Sheila. Sheila went to great lengths to stop him, but eventually, he asked Dr James Warwick to counsel them both. Sheila tried to stall for time, so James went to her previous therapist, Dr Jay Garvin, who promised he'd reveal the truth in 24 hours. And during a violent struggle with Sheila, Jay fell from his balcony and died! Sheila was once again safe! But, when Sheila refused to open up to James during therapy, he had no choice but to call Lauren! Lauren flew back to L.A. and was about to reveal Sheila's wicked past when Sheila grabbed Lauren and dragged her out onto the balcony! Lauren struggled, but only managed to slip and fall into the hot tub Sheila jumped onto her back and held her head under water until she thought Lauren was dead! Sheila called Mike for help when Lauren appeared, they struggled, Lauren smashed a vase over the bitch's head and left to tell James her story. James was about to tell Eric and Stephanie about the history between Lauren and Sheila when she appeared and kidnapped him. When he awoke, Sheila had him tied up in a secret dungeon under Eric's home. There he stayed for months until one day Stephanie figured out the truth! When Sheila tried to kill James, James fought back and tied the bitch up in one of her own devices! When James, Stephanie, Eric and the police arrived to arrest her, Sheila had vanished! Then she appeared at Mike's place, together they set out to rid of the Forresters! Sheila called each of the Forresters, James and Lauren and told them to meet with her at Stephanie's house. The did, and after a heated debate, Sheila took out a gun and threatened to shoot them all. Lauren and Sheila screamed at one another, until finally Sheila let the gun go and poisoned herself. Everyone thought she had died, instead, she was institutionalised! Six months later, Stephanie and Eric made a mysterious visit to a hospital and it was revealed that they were there to see Sheila! Sheila signed the divorce papers, the Forresters left, happy that the naughty nanny was finally out of their lives! While in the hospital, Sheila was attacked by two other inmates and severely beaten. Dr Baldwin, Sheila’s doctor, prepared Sheila for her parole hearing. Sheila be-friended fellow cell mate, Sarah. Sarah was also bullied by the two inmates that attacked Sheila! During a heated confrontation between Sheila, Sarah and the two inmates, Sarah was thrown to the ground and Sheila’s eyebrow cocked! The BITCH was back! Stephanie, hearing Sheila maybe released from prison the next week, paid Sheila a visit! There was an emergency and the guard left the room, Stephanie demanded Sheila leave town and Sarah lost control and started strangling Stephanie while Sheila stood there and watched! the guards returned and they were about to punish Sheila when Stephanie admitted it was Sarah and not Sheila who attacked her! A few days passed and Sheila’s parole hearing came closer and closer! Lauren paid Sheila a visit and the two fought viciously - the war of the words! Sheila begged Lauren to forgive her, saying she had changed! Lauren considered it for a minute and then left, saying Sheila could never change! Parole hearing time, one by one, Sheila’s victim’s said their piece and then it was Sheila’s turn! Sheila was granted a release, Lauren, and the Forresters stood up and screamed out their disapproval! Sheila left the building buy not before Lauren grabbed her arm, “Watch out Sheila!” Sheila moved into her new home on the outskirts of L.A. and started her own life! Suddenly, a letter appeared indicating that Brooke had tampered with Bridget’s paternity test! Everyone pointed the finger at Sheila! Ridge went to Sheila’s and punched her! Sheila ducked and he hit a wall! Ridge left, but Stephanie wasn’t far behind her son. Sheila and Steph screamed insults at one another until Sheila received a phone call. Brooke was missing! Lauren decided to pay her old friend a visit, the almost came to blows but Sheila held back and demanded that Lauren leave! Lauren left but not before threatening Sheila! Newcomer, Grant Chambers moved in next door to Sheila and they started to heat things up, but Grant had his eye on Micheal Lai at Forrester, which made Sheila furious! Grant moved and Sheila found his new address and confronted him, Micheal was there also! Sheila lost it and went to attack Micheal but Grant stopped her! Sheila slapped him and left! The next day, Grant appeared at Sheila’s door and she threatened him with a knife! Grant left quickly and never came back! While Brooke was missing, Stephanie and Eric went after custody of the Bridget and Eric! Sheila started to poison Stephanie using Mercury, in the hope of dampening her chances of getting custody! Stephanie was institutionalised. Brooke returned and convinced Stephanie to fight! Sheila fell in love with Dr James and opened up a text book to Mercury poisoning, James had found the cure! Stephanie, Maggie and Eric were convinced Sheila was behind this..... Sheila snuck into Stephanie’s home, just as the police arrived! She was trapped! The detective walked into the bathroom, where Sheila was. Sheila grabbed and pair of scissors and hid behind the shower curtain! The police appeared downstairs and said they have found the attempted killer! Maggie! Maggie screamed as the police took her away! Sheila arrived home and breathed a sigh of relief! Stephanie convinced Maggie Sheila was responsible, Maggie lost her cool and went over to Sheila’s! Maggie broke in and trashed Sheila’s house! She was about to leave when Sheila appeared! The two argued and fought! Sheila had Maggie by the throat, but Maggie pushed Sheila away and ran out the door! Sheila tripped over and impaled herself on a firepoker! Sheila called James and he called the ambulance! Sheila lived! Maggie confronted Sheila in the hospital and lost it again! She picked up a magazine and tore it up and then chucked it at Sheila! Maggie stormed out of the room but tripped over Sheila’s drip cord and yanked it out of Sheila’s body! Sheila stopped breathing, James appeared and helped Sheila and demanded Maggie go get help! Sheila moved back home and started a great series of therapy sessions with James! Maggie got jealous and confronted Sheila. Maggie threw a phone book at Sheila and Sheila leaped forward, threw Maggie to the floor and started to strange her! Maggie kicked Sheila off and left! Mike appeared and Sheila told him everything! Mike appeared at Maggie’s dressed as a delivery man and knocked Maggie over the head with his gun! Maggie was missing! Sheila and James grew closer! A drunk James slept with Sheila, the next morning Sheila denied anything happening! Sheila found Maggie and called the police! Maggie was freed and turned on Sheila! “It’s me or her!” Maggie told James! James choose Maggie and stopped seeing Sheila full stop! Sheila heard about James and Maggie’s wedding and was trying to locate the church when she fell over and Mike took her to see a doctor! She was pregnant! Mike raced Sheila to the chapel and Sheila interrupted the nuptuals. “I’m pregnant with James child...” Maggie screamed at Sheila to get out, but James said to stop and realised she was telling the truth! Maggie was devastated and left! The wedding was off! James and Maggie reconciled shortly after and decided they would adopt Sheila’s baby! Sheila refused until James said he would sue! Sheila was to move in with the Warwick’s until her child’s birth! Sheila hired a plummer to help her split Maggie and James.... It almost worked until Maggie found out and confronted Sheila! They fought and Maggie threw Sheila over a table and Sheila went into pre-mature labour! Sheila gave birth to a baby girl, Mary! James insisted Sheila sign the baby over, a teary Sheila did so, claiming she would never have hurt Mary! Sheila left town for a month and then returned to reclaim her child! Amber, a waitress at the diner where Sheila worked in Death Valley returned to L.A. with Sheila and got a job babysitting the baby! One night the baby started to choke and Amber called Shiela, Sheila raced over and began to breast feed the baby! Amber became nervous and hurried Shiela up. Sheila had just finished when the baby fell asleep, she was about to hand the baby over when James and Maggie appeared at the door! Sheila hid and then slipped out when they were not watching! Maggie, James and Sheila all went ot court and the judge awarded Sheila custody! James divorced Maggie and married Sheila in order to get joint custody! James and Maggie planned to prove that Shiela was a unstable woman and a bad mother! Maggie went along with the game, but she didn’t realise that it was not a game! James was marrying Sheila for real! Mike found out and raced to the church to tell Sheila, too late! Sheila found out and confronted James. Sheila jumped of the roof of the chapel and was in a coma for days! She awoke and Maggie was there, Sheila taunted Maggie and Bug eyes pulled the plug on Sheila’s life support! James arrived and saved Sheila again! Mike and Maggie joined forces and kidnapped Sheila! They held her hostage at a theme park in Universal Studio’s! Mike forged a note from Sheila and James found it, he tunred to Maggie thinking Sheila had truly left him! Sheila managed to gran hold of a scapel and cut herself free! But, because she was so sweak and her body was limp, she had no chance against Maggie and mike! After a few weeks, James followed one of them to where they held Sheila and called the police! Sheila was saved! Maggie was arrested but James convinced Sheila to drop the charges! Maggie, Lauren and Stephanie joined forces to bring Sheila down once and for all! Sheila and James hired a handyman to fix things up around the house and Maggie paid him extra to build a secret room with hidden camera’s and all sorts of technical gadget’s! Maggie was talking to Stephanie who told her about their old nurse, Judy, who left shortly after Sheila arrived in L.A.! Maggie took off to find Julie. Julie was happy to see Maggie until she mentioned Shiela’s name and then Judy kicked Maggie out! Maggie persuaded Judy to return to L.A. to confront Sheila - Judy agreed! Judy dressed up in a cloak and confronted Sheila, who was absolutely terrified! Next, Maggie visited Mrs Jay Garvin, Dr Garvin’s wife! She told Maggie she didn’t believe Sheila was her husband’s killer until she read all about Sheila’s doing in the paper after she held the Forresters at gunpoint 3 years ago! Maggie borrowed some of Dr Garvin’s family tapes and set her plan into motion!
While Sheila was alone in the house, Maggie would sneak in and play sound clips and movie clicks of people from Sheila’s past - Sheila thought she was hearing/seeing things!

Currently, Sheila has left for Genoa City to visit her mother, and Maggie has made her move on James!
