Anolis Photos
Currently, some 350 species of Anolis are recognised (click here to see a full list at Peter Uetz' site), and still more are being described with some regularity. It would be nice to be able to see pictures of them all, wouldn't it? Well, at the moment there's no such luck, but at least here's a start. 

All pictures listed below were submitted specifically for publication on this site. Some may also appear on the personal websites of their respective photographers, or have been used for printed publication, in which case their use has been authorized. If you've visited this site before, you might notice that the links to photographs on other people's websites are gone. The reason for this is that too many links became broken over time. 

Needless to say, if you have any original (= not scanned from books, magazines or other materials with copyrights) pictures of Anolis species (especially of varieties still missing from the list below) which you would like to appear on this page, please drop me a note! Your contributions will be highly appreciated! Photos that are sent in are edited to the extent that the species name, the photographer's name, and some trivia are added. 

Contributing photographers: 

 Zur Zeit gibt es ungefähr 350 Anolis-Arten (Klicke hier an, um eine vollständige Liste auf der Site von Peter Uetz zu sehen), und noch weitere werden ziemlich regelmäßig beschrieben. Es wäre doch nett, wenn man von ihnen allen Bilder sehen könnte, nicht wahr? Nun, noch haben wir dieses Glück nicht, aber der Anfang ist wenigstens gemacht. 

Alle unten aufgeführten Bilder wurden eigens für die Veröffentlichung auf dieser Site zur Verfügung gestellt. Einige von ihnen erscheinen vielleicht auch jeweils auf der Website ihres Fotografen oder sind für gedruckte Veröffentlichungen verwandt worden. In diesem Fall liegt die Genehmigung zu ihrer Verwendung vor. Falls Du früher schon diese Site besucht hast, stellst Du vielleicht fest, dass die Links zu Fotos auf Websites anderer verschwunden sind. Der Grund dafür ist, dass zu viele Links im Laufe der Zeit nicht mehr funktionierten. 

Eigentlich ist es überflüssig, das zu sagen; aber wenn Du ein Originalfoto hast, d.h. nicht von Büchern, Zeitschriften oder anderem Material unter Copyright gescannt, von einer Anolis-Art, besonders von Arten, die auf der Liste unten noch fehlen, dann sage mit bitte Bescheid! Für Deinen Beitrag werden wir sehr dankbar sein. Eingeschickte Bilder werden ergänzt durch den Artnamen, den Namen des Fotografen und einige Trivialitäten.
