As they say in old story books;
" it began a long time ago...", this time in the far away country of Sweden. For generations my family has been involved in arts and crafts in one way or another. There was wood work, painting, sowing, weaving, only to mention a few of the various activities being pursued. |
| It was my fathers side of the family that introduced me to the arts, with my grandfather being one of my first heroes. He could paint anything. Cartoon characters were created to make me laugh. Using his paint brush he would also tell the most beautiful stories of nature and harmony. His physical limitations made it close to impossible for him to get involved in any of my favorite outdoor activities, but he more than made up for that by exercising my mind through the power of art.

| My mothers side is where the craft comes in. Growing up we never had a lot of money, therefore I was found sporting the home woven and home sown look until somewhere around fifth grade. In addition all the table cloths, rugs, towels, etc. in my home also bore the family trademark. Not surprisingly there was a time when I could not stand anything that was homemade.

Now firmly established in Los Angeles, I am a far cry from my roots and motherland of Sweden. After a couple of years of rebellion I found that I too possessed the love and admiration for this way of expressing myself. I decided to bring my business with me and share this unique way of life with the people of my new homeland...
