The Twilight Age

Visit the planet Atreion, whose sun has been dimmed to a red ember by dark magic and man fights for survival against the growing cold and the forces of Shadow.    This is a setting where sorcery and weird science meet and mingle, a world of swordsmen and sorcerers, princesses and pagan priests, of flying ships and lost cities on the desolate plains.   The Twilight Age setting is meant for play with my Cineflex system, though you can easily adapt it to D&D3e or any other system of your choice.

Barsoom

My personal tribute to Edgar Rice Burrough's world of Barsoom, the setting of his immortal Martian tales of adventure.   I cut my teeth on a copy of A Fighting Man of Mars, so to speak - it was the first SF book I ever read - and ever since I've been haunted by images of a dying planet under strange moons.   My Barsoom sourcebook is an unofficial and unauthorized adaptation meant for my homebrewed system, Cineflex.

The Breaking of the Red Branch

A campaign set in pre-Christian Ireland, during its Age of Heroes.   Your characters will be among the heroic warriors of the Red Branch clan of Ulster, and you will have the chance to fight beside the legendary Cuchulainn, romance dangerous beauties like Queen Maeve and Deirdre of the Sorrows, and walk the strange wild world of Faerie as the pagans knew it.

I began the campaign using Chaosium's Pendragon 4th ed. and the Pagan Shore supplement, then moved it to my homebrewed system FLEX.   Red Branch is currently on hold, since I rarely get together with the original group.   I also learned something valuable from this game - the need to limit number of players.  I originally accepted over a dozen players, and that turned out to be too much; they still enjoyed the game, but not as much as they could have, and I was reduced to a frazzle afterward.
