Cineflex V2.2Cineflex is a generic, rules-lite system meant for cinematic action-adventure type games; I think you'll find it good for anime, space opera, swords-and-sorcery, and martial arts games. Characters are created with point-bought Attributes and player-defined Abilities (skills), and resolution is by rolling a number of d20's as defined by your Ability less than or equal to a Target Number. Combat action sequences are resolved through bidding, where faster and more outrageous stunts can be attempted by bidding lower (more difficult) Target Numbers. Version 2.1 still exists on this site as a PDF, courtesy of Paul Laine; it contains a fuller explanation of the rules (most of which remain common to both versions). Characters are defined not by specific skills, but by their rankings in seven different Styles defining how they typically attack problems. A character's ranking in a Style, along with the readability/enjoyability of the player's post, determines how many d6's the GM will roll for the character's action.
