Detailed Description:

The Leopard Danio is one of the most common Danios available and can be found at just about any fish store. The base will usually be yellow or gold. Several thick, horizontal blue, green, or black stripes will adorn the sides. Fins will usually be yellow with black horizontal lines.

Keep these fish in schools of 6 or more for maximum health. Current should be avoided. Slower fish may get picked on by these Danios. They are extremely fast and agile. pH should be as close to neutral as possible. Water temperatures should be slightly lower than other tropical fish. Plants and rocks will provide adequate hiding places.

Feed any typical fish foods. Natural foods include insects, worms, and tiny crustaceans. Tiny crickets, small snails, and mosquitos are relished.

Breeding and sexing are not known.
