Detailed Description:

This fish will usually have a silver or blueish silver color. They will have a very long, rounded nose. This fish would be best left to the experienced aquarists.
Provide a very large habitat that is deep as well as long. Rocks and plants will provide appropriate territory. If this fish is not provided adequate space it may become highly aggressive. Similar sized fish, preferably not other catfish, will make the best tankmates. While large, these catfish are not known for their hardiness. Monitor nitrate levels closely and use strong filtration as well as frequent water changes.

Feed sinking Carnivore foods.

Breeding has never been accomplished in the home aquarium most likely due to this fish's size and picky water conditions.

Sexing is not known.
