This is a rare,
yet quite sturdy catfish. It has a thick elongated body that
is silver with no pattern. Typical of catfish it will have
long whiskers.
These fish commonly live in brackish waters but are tough enough
to adjust to freshwater. The tank should be heavily planted with
rocky hiding places. Brackish water is still recommended, however.
Foods should be of a sinking variety and should have a meaty
content. Feed often, they are big eaters.
