Detailed Description:

While being very large, these catfish are nice because they are active during the day. The body will be silver in color with dark, sometimes black, splotches all over it.
These fish will enjoy the company of their own kind, plan accordingly. The substrate can be a loose pebble or rock, nothing sharp. Provide plenty of plants and whatever rocky hiding areas you can manage. Follow basic water conditions as described in the facts.

This catfish will eat almost anything. Any common aquarium food (preferably one that sinks) will work. These catfish will also eat snails of most any size. They are great for cleaning snails if your tank can match their size.

Breeding and sexing are unknown.
