Detailed Description:

These are tough, brawny Pimelodid Catfish. Equipment has been known to be damaged in their habitats. They are quick and strong. Heaters and even hoods have become their victims.
Meaty foods should be provided in abundance. Live feeders, and larger meaty foods are good choices.

Suitable species to keep with them are other large fish like Arowanas and Pacus.

Both sexing and breeding habits are unknown.
