Detailed Description:

This is a nocturnal catfish that has a tendency to hide among rocky formations. Adding these type of formations would be a good idea. Plant formations wouldn't be a bad idea either.
Because it is a nocturnal species the aquarium environment should be dimly lit. You can use lower wattage bulbs or subdue the light by covering the surface with floating plants.

While young this species tends to live near shore in low level waters. As it ages it tends to migrate towards deeper water.

It is not recommended to keep smaller fish with this catfish. Only keep one with fish of equal or greater size.

Sexing is unknown.

Breeding behavior is unknown.
