This is a tough
hardy catfish variety. It is armored for good protection and
is adaptive to many conditions. Water quality is less important
than with other fish.
The most important factor in keeping this fish is to provide
plenty of space with a 55 gallon aquarium being the minimum.
Don't let it's size fool you, it needs space.
Unfortunately, this species is hard to find and if found will
most likely bring a hefty price.
As a scavenger this catfish species will readily accept various
foods. Insects of some kind should be offered periodically.
