This Betta is
not the common Betta. It is hard to care for and generally
a little large for typical "Betta" situations.
Unlike the common species this fish is highly in-tolerant of
poor water conditions. Correct filtration and pH is essential.
These fish are also very hard to find in the hobby. A heavy amount
of plants is needed for this species to be happy.
This species will eat typical Betta foods however, frozen
foods are recommended. Some vegetation should be offered.
Sexing and breeding are unknown. |
