Detailed Description:

Like most Barbs this is a quick swimming species. These fish benefit from real plants (the more the better).
This fish is also considered a schooling fish so groups of three or more are recommended. It is also said that schooling is not necessarily limited to their own species. They may school with other species of Barbs and similar.

Being an Omnivore makes your life easy. This fish will accept just about everything from flakes to frozen.

Breeding behavior is unknown.

Since this fish is in the Barb family care should be easy. They shouldn't require too much effort on your part.
