As with most
freshwater Angelfish, this is a slightly skiddish fish. Don't
over stress it or it will be gone.
Not commonly seen in the aquarium trade this fish is usually
taller than the "standard" Angelfish. Provide a taller
aquarium.
Though similar to other Angelfish this species has a somewhat
different mouth that is more pointy often referred to as a
beak.
Poor filtration and aeration will prove fatal. Make sure you
provide as much of both as possible. Water changes are also
highly important. Failure to do regular water changes will
also prove fatal.
Breeding is quite difficult.
